I don’t recall seeing that jacket.
Which Grammy party, I wonder?
Adam looks fabulous & edgy!
Not socially when I’m first introduced to someone, but on all other occasions, I spell my last name.
Too many times it’s been written down as Hays instead of Hayes or Haze, Haynes or Haines.
I don’t leave it up to chance anymore. It’s only 5 letters.
I’m glad it’s not anything like my doctor’s name: Jonathan Luetkehoelter!
I always think of that poor little boy having to learn to print his name in Kindergarten. I thought Ron Hayes was bad enough!
Thank goodness I was not named after my grandmother, Mabel Uranus. Either would have been cringe-worthy. Her sisters were Nina, Leone, Ester, and Ferris. Hubby’s mom is Norma. I think that’s why my kids ended up Nicole, Kelsey, and Connor.
duh….

Luv this name stuff!
My maternal grandparents were Naomi and Ishmal. I have great uncles, Shelby(Sheb), Verlin, Venus, Sewell. I have uncles Dillard, Hubert Two male cousins named Kim, a Wendell. Lol I could go on and on.
Someone asked about Smash, I liked it, do not care for JHud though, I really like Kat McPhee she is one of my favorite idols.
Glad to hear about Crystal Bowersox. I saw her here in concert last year, I really like her voice. She is like Adam in the respect that she doesn’t miss a note. Great live performer. One of the few Idol albums I have purchased.
So Adam went to another pre-grammy party last night? CAA (creative arts agency).

Adam is on their roster…pretty good company

twilightmagic8,,,Guess the CAA party was the one you were referring to. Even I didn’t notice his clothes were different!
Every party except the big one.
Another from last night’s CAA party.

Grammy red carpet just started on E. Wasn’t going to watch but I figure Adam is watching so I will join him.
ADam just tweeted:
OOps … delete .. my double post of Adam’s tweet.
I’ll join Adam, too.
The red carpet show is also on the TVGuide channel. Different hosts, of course.
eta: the show on E right now is “countdown to the red carpet”. Actual red carpet show starts in 45 minutes.
I wonder where:
Here is a photo of Bill Kaulitz from yesterday. He is in LA. Doesn’t even look like what I remember him looking like!

Adam is going to open a bottle of wine and watch the Grammys. I don’t know who is going to watch it with him. His neighbour, Kelly, is at the Grammys doing Fashion Police.
Is Sauli in Finland? I haven’t heard about him lately.
Here is when Adam said he’d be home watching the Grammy. He might change his mind.

tvguide channel proclaimed 2012 to be the year of the band. Mumford & Sons, Fun, The Lumineers & The Black Keys….their 7th album! and finally a grammy nod. Wouldn’t know them if I heard them or saw them in an alley!
The only performance I’m interested in is Bruno’s. I can catch that on You Tube for sure later.
I’m so sick of the snubs, and the elimination of pop vocal categories that falsely decrease performers chances of winning.
Adam shows up in every single “snub” list. Which is small consolation. I hope he sees those lists as some token of respect, in some kind of reverse psychology.
At any rate, he was all over several pre-parties, and got a chance to network and rub shoulders with tons of industry big-wigs. Those are by invitation only, so all is good in my book.
Love the talk about old names. One of the perks of my job in health care is geriatrics. I have met a Wilma, Bertha, Herman, Erna, Irma and Hilda recently. These names are simply of the past, I don’t see them coming back here in the States again, unless, like me, a baby is named in memory of someone.
I have been delighted with the resurgence of Isabelle, Sophie, Molly and Hannah. I even know a baby Pearl.
Ron…if you are here. Gotye & Kimbra are being interviewed on the tv guide channel. Doesn’t even look like him!! He is kinda short with scruff on his face.
I volunteer, asif — me, me, me!!!
No more football, so I will be tuned in to the Grammy Awards. Hubby knows my true love and has already asked why Adam hasn’t been nominated this year.
Hmmm — difficult question to answer!
Black Keyes are fantastic.
My kids and college age kids I know felt that Mumford and Sons “sold out” when they got popular. They liked them when they were more indie or underground.
P2 was in my town last night and got a surprisingly good review.
The show I went to last night was so OTT cheesy, and it was so on purpose. The performers were in on it, eyeball rolling mugging and smirking. But, they had very good voices. They did tons of doo-wop and Perry Como and greaser stuff, with some groovy 60’s pop tossed in. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. Somebody please toss me a cracker for the cheese…( Midwest local group, 4 Guys in Dinner Jackets ). The standout was the very gay one. He was hilarious, and at times got super into the choreography and hamming it up. At one point, scripted for sure, one of the guys tells him to “butch it up”, that got the biggest laugh of the night.
Move over DC, me too!! Me too !! We can all sit on m y comfy over-sized sofa in the corner.
This is cool.
WITH LOVE FROM FRANCE

Withya, mils, on the Grammys – no real interest – feel I’ll just get annoyed all over again seeing performances nowhere near what Adam did with Nile.
Anyone else tune into Anoop’s Wednesday youtubes when he covers a song – he has a really beautiful voice – did “Daylight.”
dcglam and mils, I’ll help you set up the comfy corner. Soon, more peeps with like (dirty) minds like us will join in and fill the place.
Adam may tweet out during the Grammy. We know what’s gonna happen if he has too much wine.
I have no interest in the Grammys except for the fashions.
Kathy and Ryan Seacrest are on the Red Carpet now.
Here is an Idol Norway auditioner…singing Trespassing.

I’m telling myself …
Adam’s DAY will come. And it will be BIG, HUGE, HUMONGOUS and ENORMOUS.
Noting is small for my boy.
I’ll wait till the end of time.
asif…ITA with you. In this business, as in any business, there are lows & highs. I do believe Adam will emerge bigger than ever. As long as he stays in the public eye and keeps singing. I prefer he stay with a few charities and not stretch himself too thin in that area. His networking will pay off, I am sure of this. I’ll be patient. Of course I will surely grumble now & then but that’s just me!
And we have someone in a space suit on the red carpet. LOL
From what I’ve seen so far, most of these artists(?) on the red carpet will never be heard from again. I remember seeing Carly Rae Jepson at some jingle ball. Nobody paid attention to her. Nobody. The song hit big but I doubt if it will happen again in her lifetime.
ugh. Chris Brown.
No, I’m not here. I mean, I wasn’t here so I couldn’t be there then. I’m neither here nor there.
I’m not watching any of … that.
Instead I’m watching a cheery 2-hour documentary on H2 called “Gates of Hell”: Six locations on Earth believed to be entrances into hell.
I’m waiting for them to show the front of my apartment building.
LOL Ron!!!!
Bonnie McKee was just on the red carpet…Wow…long red hair braid. She looked wild!
My parents were Leslie & Phoebe, so English.
I’m boycotting the Grammy’s tonight too. Couldn’t bear to hear Taylor Swift slaughter another song. Like Mils, I’ll catch Bruno Mars later. Pulling for Kelly Clarkson to win for Stronger.
Love coming here to catch up on everything Adam.
Ron, you are so much fun.
It’s going to be a fun night with Adam’s tweets.
Another reason I love Adam very much is that he is kind and sweet. He acts like a fan boy to Bill Kaulitz … He is excited and shouts out for him. Bill won’t even say anything back. I don’t know and I don’t care.
I just enjoy Adam and his generousity to other artists.
He always makes me smile and happy.
But Adam is
I want a picture of Adam and Bill. Please universe, make it so.
Funny, last time I was with college kids over break, they were talking about celebrity tweeting, and said with certainty that NO celebs do their own tweeting. I didn’t even counter argue that, it just wasn’t worth the eyeball rolling I would have encountered.
Tonight should be lulz worthy with Adam tweeting every thought he has…love that guy so much.
Ron, for you, Gotye on SNL, pretty funny.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CojdFAPFUp4&feature=player_detailpage
Most people I know don’t even know what twitter is! And like you, mils, the ones that do do not believe he or any celebrity do their own tweeting. I just shut up.
No .. I do not like JLo’s dress.
Haha .. the memo didn’t say about legs.
On old names,my Grandmothers name was Isabelle and we called her Belle. she was born 142years ago and now her name is a current favorite. People always want my name to be Josephine or at least Joanne, due to my age, but it really is just Jo. My oldest has Jo as her middle name as do two of my granddaughters. PP2 I heard is going to France. He is also opening for Matchbox 20. He is doing surprisingly well but he was my favorite last year surprisingly.
My theory is that the celebs who do their own tweeting are the ones who get in hot water ( like our guy ) and get more PR about their tweets. The celebs who tweet infrequently or in very politically correct ways with boring comments are probably by hired help.
Go Adam for being spontaneous, free-thinking and open to all the repercussions of his tweeting. It just endears him to us even more.
UGH …. Heard “Lambert” … looked up … Miranda Lambert ..blah ..blah.. blah..
I wish it was my “Lambert”.
Aaaw, Jo, my mom’s sister was Isabelle. But she went by her middle name, because in school the kids called her Dizzy Izzy.
I remember Gotye on SNL but never saw that skit. Funny!
my oh my , asif….you are correct about JLO’s dress. Awful.
uh, oh…Adele to be sure to be on worst dressed list.
Another Emo jacket shows up. LOL
http://twitpic.com/c2m1tw
wow, lots of interesting names. Mine is very boring, never really liked it, can’t shorten it, I like names I can shorten…My MIL’s name is Hildegard……didn’t use that for any of my kids.My mum was Joyce, which I shortened to Joy for my eldest daughters middle name.
If you like unusual names you should visit HK….one of the favourite HK passtimes is reading nametags in restaurants and shops…
I’ve seen Coke, Cola, Milk, Coffee, Apple, Piano, Hippo, Adolf amongst many others My daughter taught a girl called Hippo, she said she was the tiniest little thing!
Never like Siobhan on Idol.
Have no interest in watching the Grammys.
Would never have said that was Bill Kaulitz from that photo, last time I saw a pic of him he was extremely thin, in black leather with really long black spiked hair.
Have never really got into Smash, watched a couple of episodes, thought Megan Hilty was great, found it very unbelievable that they want Kat Mcphee instead of her as Marilyn…
I still haven’t watched Smash that I taped last week. Now it’s preempted by the State of the Union address this week so I’ll have a little more time to catch up. Maybe.
Well, after an hour of learning all about hell, I’ve switched to lighter fare on Investigation Discovery to watch “Evil, I”.
Here, the FBI looks for a serial killer after prostitutes are found dead on the banks of the Genesee River in New York.
This oughta lift my spirits.
Speaking of spirits, “Gates of Hell” taught me that when I am one, I’m going to have to push a boulder up a mountain without any water and, after that little effort, a lizard is going to eat my liver while wild beasts wait to tear me apart. Then press the repeat button for all eternity.
Frankly, I don’t feel like doing any of that!
Thanks for the Link, mils! I’m going to watch it now.
Keith Urban is wearing Rick Owens.
LOL Ron, sounds like a day at the office to me!!
