Another month has arrived, the last one before Adam’s new album “Trespassing” will be released! February will hopefully see Adam’s lead single “Better Than I Know Myself” continue to gain airplay and sales. There should be a bump from the music video which is expected early this month. Meanwhile Adam will likely continue working on promo events in preparation for his upcoming album release, which is slated for March 20 here in the US. Perhaps with more promo being done ahead of the album release this time around, the next tour can begin by this summer? Enjoy the chat!

Update 2/4/2012: BTIKM music video was released Thursday night, feel quite certain we’ll be seeing plenty of it on VH1 in the next few weeks!

I just went back and watched the video again…purely for research into teeth of course! they look the same to me, especially in dark Adam, maybe it is just the different lighting? I know on 24/7 there is a dental nurse, maybe we should ask her, and there has definitely been lots of talk over the last year that in several photos you can still see he wears his retainer or something sometimes.

Anyways still loving the video. Seems pretty much very positive comments and press so far. Cant wait to see it on my big screen. also love the freckled lips on the last shot…

re Queen, blimey that rumour is everywhere this morning…but no denial yet from either side? looking at that Sonisphere site there seemed to be maybe 4 dates, so maybe that would work. But for the UK Knebworth house one, you can only get 3 or 4 day tickets and they were over 400GBP’s. (sorry don’t think I have a pound sign on my computer).

turquoisewaters…nkd posted earlier that phones & cameras were taken at the door. But who knows? We got one video from Shanghai where we thought we wouldn’t get any!

My brother brought up one thing from the video. That when light Adam was writing he switched back & forth from right hand to left. I don’t think it has any significance.

luval, I think the left-hand writing is an image in the mirror. If you look at the placememt of the plant at the edge of the mirror you can see it’s different than the straight on shot.

I guess I’m not “all that deep” because, if I didn’t understand the concept of the video beforehand, I wouldn’t know what to make of it. It’s all so “busy”.

I like that he appears comfortable in front of the camera and that he emotes well and he looks great. Without compromising the theme, I would have preferred a simpler, less quickly edited version though. I barely noticed the song because I was overly focused on all the “stuff” happening in the video and trying to figure out what it all meant. Maybe that’s a plus though as it makes you want to play it over several times to catch the details until the song does get stuck in your head.

I’m at a disadvantage viewing videos though because, as I’ve mentioned recently, I have an old PC and details are lost to me. The different color eyes at the end of the video look exactly the same color on this monitor. It all looks quite muddy to me and that, of course, greatly diminishes the enjoyment and full impact of being able to see it properly.

I love and appreciate everyone else’s enthusiasm and I hope it wins best video of the year too, luval! I like it … a lot! … I just don’t love it … a lot.

In this particular case, I think less would be more.

I’d prefer to see Adam in a spotlight sitting on a stool singing “Summertime” so you really can’t go by what I think. Especially when it comes to music videos Obviously!

Ray Kay had to have been in absolute heaven working with Adam on this video. Adam is soooo expressive, he knows how to portray the emotion and feeling of the moment and he just let’s it rip..no fear! The end result is pure joy for a director and total perfection on screen. Adam is pretty much the most gorgeous, hot, sexy, adorable, smart piece of male humanity I have seen in the entertainment industry in like forever. Okay, here we go, since Ricky Nelson. I love Elvis, but Ricky was beautiful and Adam is the two of them rolled together with a voice that exceeds either of them. Thank God for the age we live in that we get all this access to him constantly. Talk about the best guilty pleasure on the planet!!!

I don’t know luval, it was in the 800’s this morning and in the 340’s now. I am not an expert on iTunes numbers, but it goes up continuously so that can’t be bad. And yes, hoping for the countdown. It’s very addicting, and definitely not good for (my) business!

Oh, and WWFM is climbing again as well, now on 1019.

I have no point of reference when it comes to itunes. Does “isn’t bad” mean “not that good”, “so-so”, or “okay?” It doesn’t seem as though it means “good” or “great”.

The complexity of the video makes it more interesting, where you have to watch it many times to get it all, thus listening to the song many times. This song is one that grows on you and may take several listenings.

It doesn’t look neat, but if you search for Adam Lambert it’ll get you to where you want to be.
That’s how I found WWFM earlier, which now has disappeared again

That rumor sure has gotten around. I talked to my daughter tonight (on speakerphone with non-fans listening). She’s a big Adam fan, and was born 4 days after him back in 1982. So she says “Mom, did you hear the news about Adam Lambert?” I said “Yeah, his video came out today.” Nope, that wasn’t it. She had no idea there was a new video. She was talking about him touring with Queen. I told her it wasn’t happening and she wanted to know how I knew. I told her that Adam emails me personally. LOL. Then I told her he would probably do a couple of concerts with them this year, but he had his own album to promote. She’s not convinced. A lot of people would sure like to see it happen. cwm, these “teeth” in question can’t be seen on Dark Adam. They were only noticed on Light Adam. Check out the attached photos. Look on Page 4, Row 9, last pic on right. Also look on Page 5, Row 8, first pic on left. Those are the only two places that I particularly noticed the “teeth” during the video, and now in the pics–not all of them, though. Since they appear as usual in many of the pics, it could possibly be just a lighting thing as someone mentioned earlier. At the time it was originally mentioned, I don’t think we had the photos.

One (maybe) more thing about the teeth…I think it’s his bottom teeth/lip that look slightly different. It’s either tons of lip gloss or he’s had collagen (doubt it LOL). Definitely whitening on the bottom. If you look at the FYE video his bottom teeth are more yellow. Very common that people whiten the top and not the bottom. A magazine did an article about this and showed many pics of entertainers with different colored top and bottom teeth. Maybe I can find a FYE mouth photo. Can’t believe I’m typing all this!!!!!
