There’s discussion on twitter about the shows so far. All of it good. Mostly on whether there should be dancers or props on stage. Of course this isn’t the tour so it’s Adam truly solo. The majority feel there shouldn’t be anything but Adam with very few missing the dancers. Personally I have always liked the dancers…with certain songs. FYE, or Lay Me Down for example. And he plays off of them perfectly too. I think he likes doing this. His repertoire now seems to be more slower, soulful music. Unless he had couples waltzing behind him there would be no reason to have dancers.
A tour I think would have a bigger “feel” so maybe will include more. TOH tour was soooooo great. Just perfect with dancers (who were the backup singers) and the minimal props. Lighting was everything.
eta: Although wouldn’t it be interesting to have same sex couples waltzing?
