For some reason, climbing the U.S. charts has always been difficult for Adam. Not sure if it’s bad promotion, homophobia, or if his songs didn’t connect with mass audiences. Or all of the above. But I’ve always felt he needed a big break to overcome that and become mainstream.(c)
So if it takes a cover to get him there, I’m all for it. Believe showcases one of his big talents: to transform a song completely. If if helps him break barriers and get opportunities to promote his solo career, it will be the best thing ever. (c)
