As we wrap up another year of following Adam, it has been quite the global trip. He finally won a singing competition – as a judge in Australia. Does that count? Congrats to Isaiah! He is lucky to have Adam on his speed dial and as a mentor for the challenging world of the music business.
It should be a quiet month but we never know with Adam. Perhaps a New Years performance somewhere?! He has been off the stage for too long now so needs to get back on, if only for one night.

Yes, HK fan, I knew his mom had passed away from leukemia a few days ago. Very sad. I still think he’s the weakest “singer” from One Direction (saw Niall live on Graham Norton too, very mediocre as they all are, just IMHO).
Adam sounded wonderful, loved the little embroidery he did on “wish I’d never been born at all,” something he didn’t do while officially fronting the band. Kind of like “off the record” but very beautiful.
Like some of y’all, I don’t always like Saara’s voice, but she seems lovely and has loved Adam since back in 2010 when he did that famous promo in Helsinki at Stockmann’s, those huge signing lines, BEFORE Sauli. Hope she wins, hope the Brexit voters don’t. Nicole was shading her, telling Sharon she should look out for “her own.”
GUYS! AXS channel has moved the XFactor UK shows to Monday, last night’s show will be on at 6:15 pm to 8, and today’s final from 8 pm to 9:45. Channel 1106 on DirectTV.
AND the BBC Music Awards on BBC America Wednesday 10 to midnight.
There are now at least six videos, as people upload to their channels, splitting the numbers. Official has almost 700k with all the others adding up to about 400k.
This should exciting to see! Can envision his magical presence there. People will be captivated.

In my opinion, there is nothing particularly special about Matt as a performer. He’s cute and has an ok voice but it lacks texture and finesse. Saying that, he’ll probably break out huge!
Adam is the absolute best duet partner!
He makes everyone he duets with shine. And OMG those stares into the eyes! No wonder every female performer he sings with has heart eyes by the end of the performance!
I can’t stop watching Adam and Saara. It’s gorgeous!

Funny things:
XFactor YT doesn’t have official vid up of Matt’s duet, but one channel has one up with 225k views, compared to over 1,080,000 so far BoRhap.
Also, Saara’s Tears for Fears has highest perf #s at 528k.

Many comments claiming Matt/Nicole were better, but numbers say no. Many more comments praising Adam/Saara. Also, many saying Nicole hogged the song as is her habit.
BUT I think three things hurt Saara:
1) In her chat with Sharon, she said she didn’t get support in Finland before. Not cool.
2) I think the Bjork song for the final day was a really bad choice!
3) Nicole said on the show that England had to get behind Matt, implying “their boy.” Published % on mjs show he took the lead the final day. Night before, it was Saara 35% Matt 33% Group 31%. Next day, Matt gained 15% more, Saara only 5%.
Anyway, kind of agree, she needs to look to theater – can’t see her recording pop, voice just isn’t current to me like Adam’s.
That really showed in BoRhap (which apparently was chosen by Sharon.)
