Following a month overseas doing promotion, Adam is back to strut his stuff for the American radio audiences. Throughout December, Adam headlines holiday concerts from coast-to-coast prior to starting his own “The Original High” tour in Asia.

    Oh geez that backup singer has followers with a nickname? Glad I never got into the “I’m in love with her” stuff before she was even in stage. Just because she is pretty and has dreads? Yes I know she has solo things on YouTube. Even Terrance doesn’t have a nickname.

    I personally will decide whether I love her after I hear her backup work. Smile

    One year ago I was still sceptical about that “young, weird, casting-show-contestant” Roger and Brian planned to go on tour all through Europe and still refused to look him up, only going to go to the Queen concert in February for Brian and Roger…

    A little worried about backup singer. The operative word is “backup” – it’s not shared billing, ffs! And this after 1 gig. Can of worms….don’t know how Adam will address this. TJR syndrome rears its ugly head. I mean, Terrance shares some responsibility, but at least he has history…..

    Ditto risky lady re: “backup” But I do think that Adam really likes someone on stage with him that he knows and can interact with. The musicians he has been using are just like strangers, but maybe if they become the set band he will be more comfortable with them.

    Agree about the keyboard guy. Nice, low key and pleasant. And the guitar guy is stellar. No complaints about band.
    Well, it’s early days and I’m sure there will be tweaking! I thought the backup mikes were too low last night, there’s a lot of backing on some parts in the album, so a fuller sound is needed IMHO like the chorus of Lucy.
    Oh, and Lucy was phenomenal last night!

    Too early to judge about the back up singing. Could barely hear them last night.
    I know nothing about Dani except the one video I partially watched. Just think this is a step up from last time! Their voices are both more current sounding to fit with Adam’s music.

    Personally the IGs etc don’t bother me at all.
    Dani is of this social media generation and is trying to build her solo career and probably already has some fans. At this point, personal promotion is probably all she has in a very tough business to break in to.

    As long as they sound good during shows and don’t post things embarrassing to Adam, I’m good with it. IMHO

    riskylady No, I didnt see them on The Helene Fischer Show…I dont like Helene Fischer at all, distasteis more like it. Totally annoyed by her and her singing ^^ Really I may not even have watched it if I had known what he can do before. Hell I didnt watch it for Queen and that said all of it Razz But I watched it afterwards on YouTube after I found my way to Adam. And was like “meeeeh really how can she even think about doing WWTLF…” Not a fan at all ^^

    Found my way to Adam through a audio stream of a QAL concert. My first live istening was the Nottingham concert, Jan 24th. Thats the first time I spoke to rs after Adam blew my mind away with WWTLF. Gosh I was in tears, tears running down my face like mad. It was like a stroke in my soul. Cant describe it, the emotions I had at that time. I was blown away from his voice…throw into his amazing charming character, his laugh, smile and eyes and I was a goner.
    First I was very hesitant lol some Glamberts came across really really strong in the mixlr chat ^^ but that didnt scare me away. And was so very very thankful for rs 0and LadyNorth who caught me falling down the rabbit hole and brought me here.

    Still cant believe it how one concert, one song can change my whole life. I have found so many new friends, dear friends I dont want to miss anymore. I found a happy place for dark times, I really found another family with all of you.

    I cant ever repay Adam for what he has done to my life…

    What a breakthru this is, most, and I said most country people really are how do I put it, against what Adam is. More so when you get into the Rednecks, excuse if there are some on here. Most of this country are nicely putting it, country folks. I know, I have been and lived in a lot of it, Cowboys, and such, I dont want to label people, but it is what it is. Thats why Adam lost AI, (sorry for going there, its true). So Adam being on a country award show is all kinds of win, hes not bad, nor dangerous, and being accepting by the show and even singing with Leona Lewis, 2 great voices, this is just have to win over people that just dont want to hear about Adam. His album isnt country, but they could except these songs on there, and maybe buy the Album. I have a suspicion that we might see QAL be the half time performers for Super Bowl. What else is left to conqueror anyhow.
    I cant wait to see what he wears, just not the Kentucky Fried Chicken tie, PLEASE! I hope he goes with the more casual look, jeans and his sparkly boots, and shirt. Gheesh I need to get a life. LOL.
    I am so excited for this, I left Rock and Roll for country when I first heard Garth Brooks, the true country singer, and then of course heard Adam on TV, and thats all it took.
