2014 wraps up this month and what a year it has been. We did not get a new album but many of us got to see Adam and Queen perform live and will see them again in the UK and Europe. Adam still found time to record “Imagine” for UNICEF and starting December 1, also be part of “giveStars“ where all proceeds go to charity. Throw in a Classic Rock Award for Band of the Year and an appearance on the UK X Factor and I would say that it was a pretty good year for Adam and ALL his fans. December will probably be quieter as he prepares for the Winter 2015 Q+AL tour but we have plenty to keep us going until the tour starts. Here’s hoping that some news about the new album will be Adam’s year-end gift to us! He’s the gift that keeps on giving!! And speaking of gifts, how about spending NYE with Queen and Adam in London! What a way to ring in the New Year!!!

Unfortunately, I’ll be somewhere else with friends who don’t even watch TV. There will be old folks with their grandkids and a dog. Then they’ll put their grandkids to bed by 9 o’clock and I don’t know what’s next.
It’s going to be the most boring NYE for me.
Last year, my daughter and I danced the night away with tons of peeps at Winstar, Thackerville.
It was my daughter first time to see Adam. This year she has to work.
Anyway .. On January 1st 2015, I’ll be watching Q+AL -ROCK BIG BEN from YouTube (if there is any) and dancing by myself all day long.

He’s pretty down on X Factor and seems to be annoyed that Simon didn’t take the time to meet him, LOL! How quickly success can go to a person’s head, particularly if they are young.
He seems a bit keen to dis-associate himself from the show. Let’s hope the UK media doesn’t rush over to Adam on NYE and ask him what he thinks. Pretty sure that, if they do, his answer will be gracious.
Sam has been incredibly lucky. If he had reached the ripe old age of 26 without landing a record deal, it would have made absolute sense for him to try out for the show, whether he was a songwriter or not. And he would have been an idiot to have left that option on the table.

Listened to SS’s first hit and rather liked it, but then as time went on couldn’t stand the sound of his voice and zapped it from my iPod. (Funny, same thing happened with Adele – bought entire album and then removed that, too.) Think just find their voices too monotonous.
I only know one of Sam’s songs and it will probably stay that way, unless he gets another #1 hit, which he may find hard to do. After all, One Direction are an X Factor group and their fans probably aren’t taking kindly to the remarks either. That’s a lot of people to annoy.
ETA: I do like his song but not enough to buy it. In fact, I can’t think of the name of it at the moment.
