   If anyone is interested a friend of mine sent me this video of Boy George. He was a guest on the Jools Holland show (on Palladia tv). He is sooooooooo thin! I wouldn’t have recognized him. I think he sounds great. There’s a short interview at the end of the song.

    Whew!!! What a snowstorm we are having here!! All is well, just lots of sore backs and soggy gloves.

    Not much going on here, but, it is kinda expected with the holidays.

    Hoping for something with that Britney show, and then NYE.

    My brother was in Shanghai at the same time Adam was. But, alas, my cynical brother stays off of government TV, and had no idea about the “State Run” music awards.

    I told him to look at a newspaper. I’m sure his students are keenly aware of the awards Adam won.

    Hi luval, thanks for the Boy George link. I have always had a soft spot for him even though he clearly has his flaws and demons. But I am very loyal when it comes to my favorite singers, and something in his voice has always touched me. He is also very outspoken (and gets himself in trouble for it.) Have to check my Christmas List and make sure I have all my gifts purchased! A huge shout out to ulti who has almost singlehandedly kept this blog going, especially in the last few months, and who I had the pleasure of meeting in person – THANK YOU!!!

    lol, sparkle! No, I don’t think it would have made a difference to have bunches of Adams instead of the models!

    Since it came out I was imagining what if it were 6 women shaking their “racks” and that would have given me the yuck factor too.

    Just an hour ago I was at my brother’s house and out of the blue he mentioned the commercial saying he HATED IT! Guess it runs in the family.

    Did any of you watch the Britney “I Am Britney Jean” documentary last night? I know Adam will be seeing it Friday opening night and all I can think of is this is getting close IMO to what Adam would want to do with a tour. What a spectacle! From what I could tell it was divided into sections depending on the music. Yes, I want the voice to be the “star” but I can’t imagine what Adam had in mind for a Trespassing tour. At least he got Glam Nation and it’s low key (budget) staging out there.
