December has arrived and that means that 2012 will soon be over. Adam has been “trespassing” all around the world lately and currently finds himself in China and will wrap up his 2012 with a New Years Eve concert in Bali. But before the year ends with a bang there is plenty to do on his home turf. He heads to NY for “Cyndi Lauper and Friends” and a TV appearance, then hops across country for a radio event and a little “Diva” hosting thang.
A lot of holiday cheer to look forward to!

I love both albums, also love the Trespassing remixes, the Aftermath remix (don’t like the actual song). Maybe just a couple of songs I’m not crazy about on FYE (Aftermath, Pick You Up, Loaded Smile) but I like all the songs on Trespassing. I also like his pre-Idol stuff, the electronic stuff, a few Citizen Vein songs, Pop Goes the Camara (this one is PROPHETIC!). His Idol studio recordings are masterpieces and should be enshrined somewhere as How To Sing, Really Sing.

Glad that there have been no rocks thrown at me so far about liking FYE over TP.
The only songs that I don’t listen to are the “Broken” songs–from either album. Don’t like Broken Open or Broken English–will skip them. Like Broken Open better than Broken English.
Not crazy about Kickin In or Aftermath, so that’s another song from each album.
Other than those four songs, the rest of the songs are good for me from both albums, it’s just that the FYE songs are more my taste. And, nothing compares with OOL or Underneath.
ha, I think we’re opposites riskylady, I love Loaded smile, and I think Aftermath is my favourite on FYE. Pick u up and strut were probably my least favourites, although I loved stut live. Overall I prefer Trespassing, just love all the songs on it. I have close to 900 songs on my ipod at the moment, and about 80 of them are Adams, including both albums and bonus songs, all the Idol studio and live recordings, and quite a few pre idol stuff. Most of the time I have the ipod on shuffle so Adam comes up fairly often. There is some older stuff on there but most of the rest is fairly up to date, Adele, 1D, Bruno Mars, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Rhianna, and lots of single songs from different people.
re Adams housing…is that a good thing that he’s moved into a flat or a step backwards?? Maybe he brought it, or prefers living nearer the city.
risky, I noticed your new avi earlier today and meant to say something about it. I like it. I also have been thinking of changing mine, but I (and a bunch of you guys–especially Ron) worked so hard to get this one on here for me that I really hesitate.
But I am so optimistic and hopeful about 2013 that I really want to start a lot of things over, so I just might try again with the new avi.

Regarding Adam’s move…$8,000 or whatever he was paying a month is obscene! In this day & age downsizing (which I assumed he did), is the new way of life. I’ve done it and didn’t even have to. It’s a very free and safe feeling. Besides, he’s not there enough to enjoy so why pay. Especially all those things he’ll have to do in 2013 that will keep him away from home that he’s not telling us.

I saw Les Miz and can see Adam’s point. To my untrained ears most of the actors sounded good, but not that great as to take me to another level. My favorite were Epinone and also Marius. Somehow not the biggest Anne Hathaway fan. To me she looked like Anne Hathaway trying too hard to win an Oscar, not like a desperately poor girl.

Looks like Rickey’s getting slammed – creep – trying to attract attention by criticizing someone who actually knows what he’s talking about.
Twitter feed seems to be 50/50 for and against what Adam said. But most tweets are the usual “I love you”, “follow me”, etc. LOL
Well, Adam is certainly entitled to his opinion. And as a seasoned musical theater performer, he is perfectly entitled to give his opinion and his feedback.
Some people I know have said the exact same things about the movie. And, it has been in several reviews too. His opinion is not any different. I haven’t seen it yet, but, based on so many reviewers saying exactly this, I might just wait for it to be on HBO.
Sheesh. What is it going to take to have stars who can actually sing to star in these movie musicals? And, yes, I agree with Adam. Dreamgirls was an exception. But, Chicago was for me, too.

Funny. My mom just got back from seeing Les Miz. She said it was very emotional, and very good. But that some of the stars can’t sing. I just chuckled and told her that there is a lot of talk about just that tonight on the internet. I didn’t mention Adam. Then she said that Sascha Baron Cohen almost stole the movie. So I told her he is working on a biopic of Freddie Mercury. “Who’s that? He sounds familiar?” Gah. How did I spring from her loins? So I told her Queen. Mom. Queen. “Oh.”
