December has arrived and that means that 2012 will soon be over. Adam has been “trespassing” all around the world lately and currently finds himself in China and will wrap up his 2012 with a New Years Eve concert in Bali. But before the year ends with a bang there is plenty to do on his home turf. He heads to NY for “Cyndi Lauper and Friends” and a TV appearance, then hops across country for a radio event and a little “Diva” hosting thang.

Damn, Adam is scheduled to begin performing just before I have to go out to my sculpture class. And 5:00 pm is such a convenient time to watch a stream, if there was one. I wonder if the anticipation of what I will be coming home to will have any effect on the work I do in my “life “class. Hm….

Interesting, while Lyndsey Parker rates Trespassing as her almost top rated album of 2012, none of its songs make her top rated single list, and nobody can accuse her of not being a total Glambert. Maybe it says something about the album being more than the sum of its parts.

we’re meeting up with a group of friends for a ‘long lunch’ tomorrow, did the same last year, luch started at 3pm, and we got home at 11.30!!! The Jim Cantiello thing is interesting. I have a couple of theories. TPTB told him not to fanboy anymore. Not good for business…or, Jim himself decided to pull away from Adam and his music because maybe Adam dissed him somehow (interview or something)….or, maybe he just didn’t like Trespassing as much as he thought he did.

In spite of their previous camaraderie … “Adam, will you go on a date with me?” … this cancellation might have come off as a serious snub to Cantiello.

Adam cancelled 2 interviews in 2012. One with OZ DJ “Bryan Something” and he was very upset. The other was with Larry Flick at Sirius and he was a real gem. Adam made up that interview at a later date.
Can’t see Cantiello getting upset over an interview cancellation. More likely he was supportive of the cd when it came out because he likes Adam and supports Idol but didn’t choose it because it’s not his musical taste. He was a major Kris fan during Idol and his preference probably leans more in that direction.
My interest in him has always been peripheral to Adam so I’m going to unfollow him. Not lecturing him. He gets enough of that from the fandom as it is.
Pleases folks, don’t hate me or throw rocks at me…don’t know if I should even put this in writing, etc.,…but OVERALL I like For Your Entertainment better than Trespassing–with the exception of a few songs from TP that I dearly love. There I’ve said it.
So, maybe some of the TP songs were not favorites of a few other people too.

Individual songs – I probably also prefer FYE, but the live versions of the songs rather than the recorded ones in most instances.
Overall album – I prefer the wholistic Trespassing, but like you there are songs that I just can’t hear often enough.

There are so many crazies in the world…this much private information sought/revealed about Adam (or anyone) makes me uncomfortable…
Well, we don’t know if this listing is actually Adam’s place. At this point, it’s just a fan theory. What amazes me is that someone combed through thousands of listings looking for a similar place in layout and compared floorboards and baseboards.
One good thing – the fan who posted this kept the address a secret. No one needs to know WHERE Adam lives. What his place looks like – not such a big deal, though perhaps, after this, Adam will have to ask friends not to post ANY pics from his place in the future. It’s amazing what people can find out if they really want to.
This makes me sad.
As much as most fans are probably curious about how and where their guy lives, I would much prefer it coming from Adam himself. As in “Hi guys, I’m skyping from my new beautiful apartment in West Hollywood. Here’s a peek at my living room.”
Funny that I posted that interview last night that was from his dining room from early in the year. What a coincidence. And, yes, those chairs are in Terrance’s picture too.
I am creeped out by the level of snooping that was done. I am creeped out that somebody has that much time and the resources to find out this much information.
But I shouldn’t be. My mom was a credit investigator and worked for one of the major credit bureaus and then went to work for the Federal Gov’t in the Federal Bankruptcy Court.I grew up hearing stories of identity theft and loss of privacy. There is so much about us that is a matter of public record. As many of you know. It is scary how much can be found out about us and shared and sold. It is just scary and creepy.
But, I am sure this happens to a lot of celebrities. That doesn’t excuse it. It just means that Adam will need to be careful of who shares what in the future.
We really don’t see him posting “views from my room” pictures anymore on tour, do we? Fans can too easily figure it out.
A home is the most basic of private areas, nobody should sniff around in there. And if someone posts a picture, you should enjoy it, not exploit it. I find this somewhat disturbing right now. This is not my idea of being a fan.
Okay, so, looking at pictures of the venue for NYE. It is intimate. The stage is low. People with tables in the back will have limited views of Adam.
It does remind me of the Upright. I doubt we will get video. But maybe a ninja or two will get some partials. Let’s hope for a New Year’s present. If the world clock is right, and I’m sure it is, he will be performing at 9 AM my time. Maybe by the time I get home from work,

I find it extremely strange that fans would go to so much trouble to figure out where Adam lives. How would they feel if their personal data was plastered all over the internet. I feel like it’s a violation of trust. Adam has shared so much of himself with us that I think he deserves this shred of personal space that he can call his own. Just my thoughts on the topic.
If the info that Adam is now in an apartment/condo are true, I am very glad, especially with all the travelling he is doing. Hopefully he is on a very high floor so nobody can snoop through the windows, and with a very protective security guard at the front door.

Agree, rs, a secure, downtown condo/apartment is perfect for someone who travels a lot (Adam) and someone who doesn’t drive (Sauli). Maybe it is near Leila’s condo, too. I never believed that story about him buying Cook’s house LOL. His life is in constant flux, he may decide to spend a few months in Europe, NY, whatever, so why tie up $1.5MM in a freaking house that has grounds, etc. when you will be away so much, AND don’t have kids or pets.
TLKC, I unfollowed Cantiello too. Maybe his XFactor gig influenced his excluding Trespassing from his list. I thought he had more balls, but whatever.
I also unfollowed Byron Cooke back when Adam was doing his promo in Australia and just couldn’t work in the interview with him – he seemed quite put-out about it, as if Adam had some obligation to continue the schtick with him about their supposed “bromance.” It was cute and funny, but the spontaneous live gigs that became available were more advantageous for Adam, so……..
Larry Flick, on the other hand, even after dissing Adam for a long time, was more considerate and was well-rewarded. We are so fed up with land-based radio here in Miami, just got my Sirius radio yesterday. YAY!

“Sleepwalker” and “Broken Open” are the only tracks from FYE that I really play at all. Liked “Fever” for a while. Much prefer TR – all the young people here do, too.

I agree with all of you that fan interest of that magnitude doesn’t sound very normal. Spreading the address is not a reasonable thing to do. Not just because of the privacy of home, but because there can always be some lunatics (also non-fans) who will hang around there. I like to listen to both albums. They are different but I have my favorite songs on both. I love the classic rock vibe and theatrics on FYE, and my guy prefers FYE more than Trespassing (he doesn’t like pop). But I can also understand well why most Adam fans love Trespassing, it’s more dancy/personal. He made it based on what fans seemed to love on FYE. I believe people who prefer different genres of music like different songs most. I really like that he takes also old songs to his current shows. I got a bit bored to hear only the up-beat songs from Trespassing. But that’s so wonderful in Adam – he has so many sides and vibes
I would love to have studio/TV recorded live versions of all the Trespassing songs. I love to watch the vids but if I just listen, I want the sound quality to be excellent. I had a very pleasant surprise today when I organized my files and found couple of radio show downloads (MP3) that I didn’t remember
One was from Chile with most of the AI studio recordings which I don’t have (couldn’t find for sale as MP3s). I have only listened them in youtube and the sound quality was not as good.

I never listen to FYE anymore. I’ll watch a GN video at times, but to be honest, I just love TSP. To me, it’s like Rumours or Thriller, I like every song. I can’t even say that about Adele’s 21. I like most of 21, but, not every single song.
I try to listen to other music, I put on the radio, scan for something, anything to listen to. But, I always end up back on TSP. Or I pop in an old CD. I’m even sick of my beloved classic rock. Except for Zeppelin. I just heard Kashmir the other day, and wow, it still is just sublime.
FYE & Trespassing are both on my ipod. Listen to them both almost every day. Can’t get enough of FYE, Sleepwalker, IIHY, TP, OOL, PTL…ha I guess almost every one!
I also have December, Oh My Ra, TFM, Black or White, Is Anybody Listening, No Boundaries..I even downloaded the seconds sultry voice of Adam saying “Thank you Glamberts, I love you”. lol!

I like Adele and listen to her album sometimes but it doesn’t do me the same than Adam. The only other new music that gives me the same kind of full feeling is the latest album of famous Finnish symphonic metal band with female vocalist. It is a musical masterpiece, great composing. Very strong, dramatic, theatrical stuff. But part of their older music is too heavy for me.
