December has arrived and that means that 2012 will soon be over. Adam has been “trespassing” all around the world lately and currently finds himself in China and will wrap up his 2012 with a New Years Eve concert in Bali. But before the year ends with a bang there is plenty to do on his home turf. He heads to NY for “Cyndi Lauper and Friends” and a TV appearance, then hops across country for a radio event and a little “Diva” hosting thang.
A lot of holiday cheer to look forward to!

This music is so Western and foreign to the Chinese ears used to traditional Chinese tones. I wonder what they think of it. It is probably as strange to them as traditional Chinese music is to our ears.

well, I wasn’t expecting that close up crotch grab bit on Chinese tv during Trespassing!!!
Well – that was a barnburner of a performance – and a very brave one, too. His voice sounded stupendous and he sure didn’t hold anything back – in more ways than one.
Whew!!!!!! That was very hot and definitely gender specific. I love Fever and am glad to see it back in the repertoire. The Glamberts were so excited and into it that they helped make the show, I think. I did notice a shot with some older white guys taking pics so some of the audience really got into it, I think.
Still think the dancers need work.
Adam hit the high notes for this and he really rocked the house! Adommy fans are going to be disappointed, though.

Yes, very gender specific. What fun. I just heard on NPR yesterday that the Chinese government is very supportive on having their citizens enjoy a healthy sex life and support all kinds of sex shops. This is a huge swing from the government strict moral codes enforced in the 60s and 70s. Adam was interviewed on the largest National channel. First openly gay person to have this honour.
My livestream sound was awful. Looking forward to the vids. OBTW, on a very shallow note. I am happy to see that he got himself some fitted leather pants without a saggy behind (the pants, not him)

Didn’t expect the girls to be there. I would have liked the yellow afros to have made an appearance. The staging was great. The huge stage & runway. Adam down on his knees!
Loved the Glamberts, the big “A” in the audience. The non-asian fans in the audience…maybe Hennessy peeps, maybe Adam’s.
Loved how he (couple of times) mentioned the “pursue your dreams” thing in a country where I’m sure it’s stifled at times. Music is the international language, he said. And thanking Hennessy too. Hoped they payed him big.
All in all, Adam was himself! Very sexy interaction with the dancers (sorry, I can’t warm up to Johnny). Crotch grab and that pose at the end! Loved it!
Have you noticed that when he’s sung WWFM today & the last couple of times, it’s exactly like the album? He probably knows that these audiences what to here that version and not an “enhanced” one.
And that wail at the end of Trespassing!!!! Yes, the long wail is baaaaaaaack big time!!!
The English language has run out of superlatives to use to describe his performances and how he outdoes himself every time. I could start on the Hebrew ones, but nobody here, except for cgesq would understand them.
Somewhere in the middle of WWFM I started crying, I think I was just so damn proud of him and was realising the enormity of what he has achieved. At the end of that song he seemed a little moved, too.
And I was thinking how surreal it was for me to be stting here in Jerusalem, along with friends in the US, Canada, Finland, Hong Kong, and whereever else there are lurkers, watching Adam perform live in Shanghai, of all places!
And I loved those Glamberts in the audience with their striped shirts and bows. So cute. He doesn’t care if Chinese audiences are normally subdued. He did his magic and got them responding to him.
Whoever the director was who was in charge of the cameras must be a secret Glambert. He zoomed in on the GB a few times. I have to say, it surprised me, considering it was the official vid, delighted as I was.
I could go on and on, but I am preaching to the converted. You all saw it. What an amazing ride we are on.
