After a very eventful past month for Adam and his fans, December has arrived. Adam enjoyed quite a bit of publicity during November, including an epic performance with Queen at the EMAs, a Rolling Stone interview, a mentoring appearance on Majors & Minors, and his return to the AMA stage (unfortunately only as a presenter this time around). Still no new music for us to enjoy with our holiday feasts, but all the signs currently point to the lead single from Adam’s new album being released in January.

Update 7 PM 12/14: as per Adam’s tweets today, “Better Than I Know Myself”, the lead single from his new album “Trespassing”, will be released on Tuesday, December 20th!

    “I Just Love You” did not make my list. That’s why this was so hard, I love it too!

    To be fair, the Hungarian info was less hype and more release info. I thought it was funny that they would say they didn’t know where January came from because isn’t that what Adam said somewhere, sometime?

    riskylady…I did see that video and also noticed some Lee Cherry photos of Adam being used. If he were to claim copyright infringement in using those photos, lots of fans could be in trouble also! However, they are using them to promote a product that is for sale.

    With my list, nkd, I had about 20 or 21 songs so it was very very hard to narrow them down. The only one I really remember where on my list it is, is number one. It’s the first one I picked and had no problem with it’s rank.

    I have been computer-free for 10 days so I’m a bit out of touch with stuff. I downloaded the improved EMA performance (thank you nkd! and watched its fabulousness a few times, and now I’m wondering if anyone knows if the songs will be released for sale. Or if there is a way to make the video into a music file I can add to iTunes. A year ago I could find some free sites to do that, but I’ve had no luck lately.

    I use this company’s Any Video Converter so I haven’t tried the audio converter. But it seems to be able to do what you’d like it to do.

    Sauli shopping at Costco, looks like a pack of teddy bears, some wine, pizza, nuts?, spinach or lettuce, strawberries? vodka or tequila. I was just at Costco and did not see anyone that cute at my Costco.

    OMG — I have no intelligent words. This pic is way beyond adorable! Just loving how Adam is taking his Godfather responsibilities very seriously…. Wink
    Riff is getting so big and looking very much like a combination of both his mom and dad. BTW, if you google Images/Lee Cherry hundreds of pictures of Adam come up. Funny!!

    Hey everyone! So how excited is everyone knowing that the new single is possibly coming out before Christmas. Not gonna lie, I literally squealed when I heard that Blush

    those tweets remind me how glad I am that the rollout of the album won’t take forever this time, global all at once. Remember last year when FYE wasn’t released in France until October 2010? Almost a whole year later than in the US? and only a month before the Paris concert?
    On the other hand, that allowed luval and me to enjoy a tiny Adam concert in Paris with M&G because no one there had any idea who he was! Wink

    That release of the BTIKM (ha I remembered it without cheating) is going to be one worldwide explosion. How in the world are we going to keep up with the news and raving about the song all over the world? Ha, we wont have to, because our computers are going to melt, with all the searching and dowloading the info. And I just got a big chuckle to myself, can you imagine Mjs, when it comes out, she will be closing the site every 5 minutes, with the backlash the thread will be getting from the haters, and us poor happy people trying to respond without getting banned. I get all worried just thinking about it.

    When will they release it? Well not today. Is Tuesday a good day? I say no because they want a lot more tweets like the one from Sony Africa, (they listen to Adam in Africa? not trying to offend anyone) Wed, well its a possibility, Thurs, Dec 8, that sounds about right to me, Adams new single, Dec, 8, 2011, I am going for that.     I cannot recall ever before experiencing this sense of both fear and utter delight.

    So I am trying to remember what it was like when Adam’s first single dropped. Were we as worried? We were certainly as excited. Was there such a press build up beforehand? I remember that it was debuted on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show and I listened live. When it was over I just said: Huh? What was that? Where is the VOICE? It isn’t what I was expecting. I had been listening to pre-Idol (Upright Cafe), and Idol stuff (show and tour) all summer, so FYE came as a big shock. It still isn’t my favorite, but of course he has more than made up for my initial disappointment. This time I just don’t know what to expect. It most likely won’t be the type of music that I would normally listen to, but if his vocals are pure and front and center, how could I possibly be not love it? (And I do realise that I am not his target audience. He is doing music that he loves and what should be done in order to get radio play and be the iconic pop star that he wants and deserves to be.)

    Interesting. So Toby Knapp’s description of the song does not jive with Glamazon’s description. So that calls Glamazon’s credibility into question. Unless there’s been a change…? And Toby mysteriously refuses to name the song, although Adam has already announced BTIKM. Hmmm.

    I don’t care midtempo vs. uptempo – I just want it to be a good song and to hear Adam’s voice! And I want it to be a hit. Although he’s not pooping over it (he’s a professional after all Wink ), it sounds like Toby liked it and what he says does sounds promising.
