After a very eventful past month for Adam and his fans, December has arrived. Adam enjoyed quite a bit of publicity during November, including an epic performance with Queen at the EMAs, a Rolling Stone interview, a mentoring appearance on Majors & Minors, and his return to the AMA stage (unfortunately only as a presenter this time around). Still no new music for us to enjoy with our holiday feasts, but all the signs currently point to the lead single from Adam’s new album being released in January.

Update 7 PM 12/14: as per Adam’s tweets today, “Better Than I Know Myself”, the lead single from his new album “Trespassing”, will be released on Tuesday, December 20th!

    In my car and just heard WWFM! The dj’s must have been singing along because after the song was over they discussed which one of them could hit those high notes. “No one can do that except Adam Lambert, although we tried!”

    Hi little dutchess…just got home. Am on my iPhone now and about 2 hrs ago I couldn’t refresh here but thought it was my Safari browser. Yet I could get 24/7 and google and other sites. So maybe it was this site.

    But here we are! I don’t think much is going on. I listened to the Freddie/Adam mix of We Are The Champions and really preferred Adam’s voice. Not just saying that either.

    Can’t bring it here with my iPhone. Hard to type too. My pc is in the shop again. -Frown

    Luval, I was really struck by the difference in Freddie and Adam’s voices on that mashup too!
    In the AI finale, when Adam sang the second verse he went way up on “gonna lose” while Freddie actually goes down on it. Yep, I prefer Adam’s voice too – Queen’s songs are very operatic and I agree with Brian, his voice just “fits” perfectly. Not that I don’t like Freddie, def like his styling/phrasing, but prefer Adam.

    My mobile twitter must be down. I cannot see Adam’s tweet. Technology sucks sometimes. It’s scary to rely on it too. At work the other day (hospital), the whole computer system went down for 10 hrs. Doctors did not know how to hand write orders so I had to show them! They could put a white coat on me and no one would know the difference. Lol. Except I’d be educating the patients the ins and outs of Adam F Lambert! Instant cure for whatever ails them.

    Scary story though about the black-out and the inability of doctors to work in those circumstances.

    Wow, this was quite an eye-opener for me as well, riskylady! I checked out the song on YouTube and noticed that there were thousands of “dislikes”. I highly doubt that this song will be heard on the radio!! And yea, about that tweet…… Pain
    This is all coming from a Gaga fan — ME!!

    Haha Luval!! I work in a hospital too, and it never ceases to amaze me how smart and how inept doctors are !! I totally believe you knew more than they did!!

    Adam’s voice as a healer? I have done it. Way back, before the Idol finale, I had Brigadoon on a CD, I brought it in for a patient who had performed it, and has been on Broadway himself.He name dropped being friends with Angela Lansbury and Jerry Orbuch, anyway, when he heard Adam’s Come to Me Bend to Me, it brought tears of joy to his eyes. He wanted to know who in the world possessed that voice. I just told him he was a new young singer. The patient was blind, so I couldn’t show him a picture. He was so grateful for the song. He played it over and over. ( Just like me!!)

France is of course the most significant, but so many other countries!

    I love the Gaga song. It’s a true blues jam, very creative, rythmic, and…

    reminds me of Amy Winehouse. Who also used many blue words in her songs, including the f bomb. And her CD won best of the year Grammy. Back to Black.

    I love that Adam re-tweeted out that Huffington Post article that Pink had tweeted out about being less judgmental and looking for the positive in yourself and others.

    Funny, I follow Pink on twitter, read her tweet, and checked out the article. As I read it, I was appreciating its message and thinking about how much it applied to Adam and the way his detractors view him. And it related to some discussions we’ve had here, too. I found myself wishing that Adam and his detractors could read it. As soon as I finished the article, I checked my twitter again and BAM Adam has tweeted it out. Perfect. Love him.

    Thanks for the laugh Mils, I needed that as I live in Iowa and do you know whats happening here? First caucus in the nation, that’s what. I’m so tired of political ads and phone calls. I’m a registered Democrat so you’d think they’d leave me alone. Rick Perry is the worst, but Ron Paul’s ads are getting to me too. Have to keep the remote handy so can mute. The good thing is that it will be over soon. (I hope no one is offended by my polical views). I’ve had two relatives call and ask about Adam and his Finland arrest. They said they wanted and unbiased view. j/k

    I’m beginning to see commercials/advertisements for the upcoming Grammy Awards that will be televised on February 12. I’m wondering if there is any possibility of Adam performing BTIKM. After all, he is a former Grammy nominee.

    It will be slow days until they announce some live performances or radio interviews. They’d better do that soon, otherwise; the media and gossip paps will hang on to the trivial scandal to get hits at this quiet time.

    Another acting Adam in The Ten Commandments. I have the DVD and love it. Too bad it didn’t do well back then. There are so many talented people in this musical. The costume is exotic. Val Kilmer wasn’t bad. I like him. Most part is well done. The last part is a little wacky..ha..ha..

    Well, Adam is good singing and acting at Into the Deep scene too.

    Good Morning-
    Just had my 1st Adam moment. Was playing BTIKM on the Vevo site for someone in my office building who knows of my passion for AFL, likes Adam but doesn’t follow him. As it was playing someone (a stranger) in the little waiting area who was getting ready to leave kept listening and on her way out she asked who was singing. I said Adam Lambert. And her reply was “REALLY”? Said she really liked the song. I got the impression she probably hadn’t heard him since Idol and was surprised at the style of music.
    One person at a time!

    Good morning everyone! Just wanted to thank asif for all the goodies – the video that showed lots of scenes from AI8 made me go back and re-watch some of Adam’s AI performances… No wonder we all fell in love with him!! “Satisfaction” was such a perfect preview of what he could bring – still gets me every time!

    Hope everyone’s doing well after the holiday. My company’s now gone and I’ve begun the “clean up” phase. We have a lot of kids in our extended family and, since all the gatherings were at my house this year, there are things stuck to my tile floor that required a SCRAPER to remove Really Angry
