Oksana, I have a few Buble songs on my ipod, all covers, but like his voice. He came to HK a few months ago, really wished I gone to see him, I know people that did and they said his voice was brilliant and the banter between him and the audience was great.
ron sorry have never heard of that company…but I’m really not that fashionable…..but being on the rather ‘larger’ size (a US14) for HK, its more what I can get rather than fashion, the pics look cool though.

I’ve been reading boards where lots of fans are worried about the dubstep influences in Adam’s new music. Lots of ‘what is dubstep’ going around.
I heard my first taste of dubstep about 2 weeks before we heard Adam talk about it. (Talk about a coincidence!) A kid I work with had it on his iphone…with tinny speakers and no bass. I said, “What kind of music is that? It sounds like a video game!” It so intrigued me that I went home and googled it.
I can’t say it’s my favorite genre, but there’s some good beats in there. And as an ‘influence’, I figure I’ll like it just fine. I pretty much like all forms of music. Classical, rock, rap, dance, techno, country….none of it turns me off….but some genres do require the right mood for me to really appreciate them.
Music alters our emotions and I use many different forms to take me to many different places. Listening to people talk about Adam’s new music, I figure this new Adam era will energize me and get me off my butt. And that’s always a very good thing.
My only concern is that his Voice is front and center…and pure. I really want to hear that Voice. Other than that, I really don’t care what direction he goes in.
Hmmm…..long post. I’m just so darned excited I gotta talk! And SQUEEEEE!

I don’t know what kind of music Adam will make, I just want to hear his voice loud and clear. I am trying not to squee over the impending drop of the single, but it’s getting harder with each new tweet from dj’s and record people. It sounds like Adam is going to have a world wide hit song and no one deserves the more.

Good morning! Read all the discussion last night about Adam’s potential new music. Now dubstep…here’s what I got from wiki:
Dubstep (/ˈdʌbstɛp/) is a genre of electronic dance music that originated in south London, England. Its overall sound has been described as “tightly coiled productions with overwhelming bass lines and reverberant drum patterns, clipped samples, and occasional vocals”.[1]
Don’t like that last part but then again it may be only a small taste of what the song will be like. My absolute favorite song out right now is Rhianna’s We Found Love. It’s described as dubstep but more stream lined, more mainstream and just dipping a bit into dubstep.
If Adam just does a wee bit of all the genres he loves I’ll be thrilled. Still am sick of the hype, though.

Another song that is listed as “dubstep infused” that we’re familiar with and have discussed for other reasons…is Britney’s Til The World Ends. I can certainly go with some of this style for Adam too. This would definitely require dancers and a different set of musicians to put on live versions of these songs.

Luval, I really, really like this song too. I hadn’t even thought about who is singing it. I think Kesha’s Blow might have some of this dubstep infusion too. Seems Bieber is putting it into his new music. So, Adam should be in line for a big hit, hopefully, cause this stuff is definitely danceable.

I interrupt this regularly scheduled flailing to bring you the Director’s Cut of the EMA performance!!! Some extended camera shots of Adam, especially his roof-raising wail at the end, and a couple of new close-ups in TSMGO. Those who have watched it more than once (anybody?) will notice the differences. The older videos are starting to blur and look underwater, while this one is lighter, and clearer. Great audio, of course!
