After a very eventful past month for Adam and his fans, December has arrived. Adam enjoyed quite a bit of publicity during November, including an epic performance with Queen at the EMAs, a Rolling Stone interview, a mentoring appearance on Majors & Minors, and his return to the AMA stage (unfortunately only as a presenter this time around). Still no new music for us to enjoy with our holiday feasts, but all the signs currently point to the lead single from Adam’s new album being released in January.

Update 7 PM 12/14: as per Adam’s tweets today, “Better Than I Know Myself”, the lead single from his new album “Trespassing”, will be released on Tuesday, December 20th!

Enjoy the chat during this last month of 2011!

I get what eywflyer is saying and hope it does not come to that, I am also glad he feels comfortable speaking his mind here on this site, I don’t think most of us would be posting negative feelings at many other sites.
Damn can’t the boy man just enjoy his success without screwing it up!

I think this incident through us all for a loop. And emotions are running high. kradamour pretty much said everything I had to say anyway, so I did not even post my own version of “grow the f**k up, Adam” or look up any more “news”. I want to get a bit more perspective before I jump to conclusions.

Love the pic of Adam in the striped shirt over at AQD – looks about 25. Said #20 on iTunes and #11 on Pop?

Obviously this incident has re-opened “wounds” we have suffered in our support of Adam. It is very frustrating. I too am trying to put on my “game face” and hope for the best, but it does get so frustrating to see all the time and effort he has put into building his career and reputation to this level, then go and stir up another controversy that will once again take the conversation away from his music to the “gate” of the moment. I hope hurt feelings and frustrations can be allowed to heal and cool off – I would hate for this to tear our sweet little glamily apart. Smile

  6. Kradamour says:

I was very sad to come here after lunch and see some harsh comments that were directed to peeps here. Frown

I think that we are all upset, and we aren’t jetlagged but we are holiday lagged and trying to fit this “gate” into our busy lives and come here to share thoughts and angst. A harsh word can too easily slip out.

Under these circumstances, I hope that we will all be extra careful of the feelings of others who are also holiday lagged and upset. Sometimes an apology after the fact won’t be enough.

I treasure this site and hope that we will all protect it, and each other.

    Love,
    Kradamour xoxo Heart

My only comment is that I wish it hadnt have happened right now, with his single coming out, and wish I know what really happened, but with Adam now being in the limelight so to speak, anything he does will be reported and be blown up.

Sad because if it was Joe Blow, and Tommy Two Step in a brawl nothing would have been said. There are squabbles all over the world every day, not reported on. Adam is a star now and he needs to be careful a little bit better on how he handles himself.

And lastly we can not afford to have him having spats with Sauli, it may mess with his head too much. He is a very artistic person, and we all know they over act to things, for him to turn on the fierce so much on the stage, and come back being so sweet and thoughtful takes a lot of personal conflict. All of us in our everyday lives dont put ourselves out there, as least I dont think so. I know when I have conflicts, I hate the emotions that come over me, it does me in.

Adam, get your dam act together, you have got yourself in a great position in life, and we all need your singing and music. Straight up, (for a while at least)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

eywflyer—-we love the site, we love speaking our piece, looking forward to your comments, your great!!!! Worship

“WetPaint” says Nico ran out to the kitchen and they were “wrestling on the floor.” Paint ME bad – would have loved to have seen that – lol.

  12. luval says:

Just got home from work at received at least 4 e-mails from people who saw this on aol, yahoo. One of them said to me “haha…there’s your wonderful Adam Lambert”.

Am still sick about it all.

  15. TexasWannaHoldEm says:

We could all share funny drunk stories (I’ve got a doozie!! Grin )

  16. dcglam says:

    I know, luval….
I was upset to see it on MSN, but you know what? We have all known from the get-go pretty much that this journey with Adam was not going to be easy. Like I mentioned earlier, he (and we) have had so many ups and downs. Yes, like you, I do spend time “defending” him to others, much as I would do if he were my own son. Funny that I do think of him as that. Sometimes it does get frustrating, but we continue to hang in there because we know it will (and does) get better. We also know that he is so worth it! Hang in there, luval — This will be rough for a while, but it will get better.
    I promise! Wink

Thanks for the pep talk, dcglam. And jlurk…loved that article!!! I’m printing it and reading it over and over the next couple of days.

Adam Lambert worked with Pharrell and was thrown in Finnish jail? He immediately has more street cred than Drake.

  20. PlanetFierce says:

I think we should kick Adam’s ass right about now. What a spoiled brat he is. The reason you guys are going at each other stems from the fact that this is just unbelievable behavior from him. He contradicts everything else (good) that he does with this crap and I can tell you that the reason is because he has a drinking problem that takes him to the edge sometimes. That is the only thing that makes sense. I would bet money that he was throwing them back the night of the AMA’s too!!

If he wants to see his career go up in smoke real quick, just keep it up Adam. He takes two steps forward and three steps back…you are never too big to fall!!!

  22. dcglam says:

I would bet money that he was throwing them back the night of the AMA’s too!!

I always wondered about that, but never said anything. He really wasn’t “himself” that night either.

  23. ultimathule says:

Will probably get more male fans now.

  24. luval says:

Top story on TMZ. They are saying they are like Brad and Angelina in Finland. They actually weren’t too nasty but funny-ish.

    24/7 will probably post this.

  25. luval says:

    I agree, Planet Fierce.

  26. Kradamour says:

We have all speculated about the motivation behind showing the finger at the end of the AMAs. Happy to speculate now that it was in fact alcohol-driven.

But let’s keep this in perspective, peeps. Adam just finished a concert tour of 100+ performances. He never missed one. With the exception of a couple of performances, there was never a whisper of alcohol.

I am not willing to say he has a drinking problem – yet. But I would like to see him lay off the proof for a while and this incident may well do it.

I think that we also have to remember that Sauli is considerably younger than Adam and clearly does not take things too seriously. I hope that he is a good influence, or at least not a bad one.

Okay, enough speculation for this peep for a while. Love you all, BBL. Heart

  27. TexasWannaHoldEm says:

OH NOOOOO!!!!! Company’s arriving an hour earlier than expected! Sure could use that extra hour (or two, who am I kidding!) that I’ve spent “angsting” today, haha.

  28. riskylady says:

According to one of the most recent Finnish articles with pics of the cells, Sauli was so intoxicated he was put in the “drinker’s cell” with only a mat on the floor, while Adam was in a regular cell with bunk.
Takes me back to the days when I was a huge Sinatra fan. He was always getting into trouble, as was Richard Burton (also a fan). I’m just going to hold my breath for 3 days and see how it all plays out between Adam, Sauli, RCA, the fandom.
There are some glimmers of hope: WWFM back in top 200 at iTunes, more followers on Twitter, some support on Twitter and some blogs.

Things I take away from this: Alcohol is the devil, Adam still may have jealousy issues, Sauli may be a little flirtatious.

But I still love Adam and his voice. His music will always be in my heart, and so will he.

  29. luval says:

I’m agreeing with everyone today. Wonderful post, riskylady!

  30. dcglam says:

    Enjoy your company, Texas!

  31. luval says:

Texas…don’t desert us! To heck with the company! Smile

  32. riskylady says:

    Recipe for disaster:

Niko, who they were out with, and Sauli had a huge flirtatious bromance on Big Brother. They slept together in the same bed and hugged each other and kissed often on the show. If Adam knows about these things, and I am sure he does, he might possibly be jealous. Adding alcohol into an evening out with him was not the smartest of moves. Smile

  33. jlurksacto says:

@peacefrogdesign: The only thing missing from Adam’s math is “makeup sex = priceless

  34. jlurksacto says:

    ekinney10eve kinney
@milestougeaux lol. For some reason I thought that Neil would be the first Lambert to take a ride to the station.

    milestougeauxMiles Tougeaux
@ekinney10 we all lost that bet

  35. turquoisewaters says:

I have to admit that part of my hurt and disappointment
stems from me projecting my “happily-ever-after” fantasies on a celebrity whose private thoughts I don’t know and who does not owe me anything. But I can’t help myself. I do care. I still hope it was not as bad as it initially sounded, and I certainly want him to get a grip on the drinking/violent outbursts. There is just nothing funny about that in my book.

  36. dflowers says:

    Gotta love Dadbert!

  37. luval says:

So just came home from walking my bro’s dog (lives around the corner). This brother is only an Adam fan because I bombard him with all things Adam and he loves his voice. He even e-mailed me his aol link about the Adam story (thinking I didn’t see it, lol). I asked him what he thought and he said “So What?” He could care less and said the general public could care less in his opinion.

  38. dcglam says:

I feel that Adam is a very strong personality. He doesn’t do low-key or moderate. He’s pretty much an OT kind of guy in all aspects of life. I feel that this is a double-edged sword for him. The entertainment part is what we initially fell in love with.

We have grown to realize that the man seems to be passionate about everything in his life that is important to him — his singing, performing, family, friends, fans, charities, etc. Yes, he is passionate as well about his relationships. Not that I am defending any “drunken behavior” on Adam’s part, but I feel that this Sauli/Adam conflict is all part of this “passionate” personality of his. I also feel that this strong passion is what will make Adam Lambert the icon that he will, no doubt, be!!
    Yes….. a double-edged sword!

dcglam I actually made myself stay away until all the gifts were wrapped, rolls are rising on the counter, laundry is done and supper is cooked. I have some time now to search around but my heart just isn’t in it tonight.

I should not feel this bad over someone I don’t even know, but I do, I think we all have such hopes for him. I know basically he got drunk and made an ass out of himself, not a biggie, in the grand scheme of things, but the timing is horrendous. Really Pissed

  41. glambotgram says:

    more from Dadbert

    milestougeaux Miles Tougeaux
and apparently it wasnt really a fight to the Finnish.

  42. luval says:

Weird…in the last couple of hours I’ve done a 180 and I don’t care about this situation anymore! I just want Adam to be healthy and happy (maybe Sauli’s not the one?), work on himself and the drinking and COME HOME! I want Adam era 2 to continue with the arrow going up! This was a bump in the road and want him to focus forward.

  43. luval says:

I’m so hoping for some major news/entertainment event to happen within the next 24 hours to take the focus away from this whole insane ordeal.

dcglam…did you see my “eta” on my last post?…not so bad!

  47. JOJOSIE says:

My twitter feed wasn’t too upset and even quite calm now, MJ’s not to bad, I’ve not been too upset, altho I’ve said from day one that I wish he didn’t always have a drink in his hand, but I feel that way about lots of folks. I really think this will not harm his career in anyway and may even help (not my wish). He is a pop star and many will dismiss this altho it’s more rock and roll behavior. Actually I wondered when Adam and Sauli would have their first public tiff but I didn’t expect it to happen this way and not the best timing. Shock Beat Up Shame

    We can handle this! Yes

  49. luval says:

    Hi JOJOSIE..

I too noticed mj’s wasn’t too bad. Not as many haters or “I told you so” as I thought. Good. Personally I don’t like the rock n roll mentality thing. He is too old. Sauli isn’t that young either. I mean they are young but neither are teens. The Ozzie Osbornes and Alice Coopers are a thing of the past. And these two guys live semi-normal lives with a wink to their past antics. Alice Cooper was on Joy Behar the other night and he was smart and funny!
