After a very eventful past month for Adam and his fans, December has arrived. Adam enjoyed quite a bit of publicity during November, including an epic performance with Queen at the EMAs, a Rolling Stone interview, a mentoring appearance on Majors & Minors, and his return to the AMA stage (unfortunately only as a presenter this time around). Still no new music for us to enjoy with our holiday feasts, but all the signs currently point to the lead single from Adam’s new album being released in January.

Update 7 PM 12/14: as per Adam’s tweets today, “Better Than I Know Myself”, the lead single from his new album “Trespassing”, will be released on Tuesday, December 20th!

    Can I just say that I think Durbin sucks and hope that Adam doesnt respond to that. There is no prize for who can scream the loudest, because Adam doesnt scream, only Durbin does. I used to almost like Durbin, not his music, but if he indeed said those things, trying to stir the pot, I really am done with him. Bye Durbinator, hope you have a good life. Clown

    eywflyer, I had thought that you would post the list all at once, but now I understand that there will be a countdown. How often do we see a new performance on the list? every day? every week? The sooner the better. There are so many other Adam related things that I have to wait for. (hope I don’t sound greedy)

    I was surprised to see that only 16 ballots were received. I thought that there would be more. But even that many was lots of work for you, so thanks again.

    Miss Chaos ITA about Durbin, except I have never liked him, but that is not a popular opinion here so I won’t say any more.

    Oh I am so excited about the top 16. Suspense I didn’t save my list so I only have a vague Thinking idea where I put songs on the list, and which songs were on it. Laugh I swear I would probably make a totally different list on a different day or according to my mood. Confused Everyone of those songs was a worthy candidate.

    Ron you Devil you are so funny. Lee Cherry is droolworthy!

    rs, the countdown will be updated with one new song revealed per day, with the #1 song revealed on December 16th, the first anniversary of the final Glam Nation Tour date. I posted two songs today since there was a tie for 16th place (thus we actually had a top 17), for the other ties at 10th and 4th place I’ll randomly select one of the two tied songs to post first, and there won’t be an 11th place or 5th place song.

    Laugh I think sometimes, by post count, it seems like there are a lot more of us than there actually are, but I thought the same thing 16 seemed pretty low. Maybe it was just too overwhelming for some, trying to choose. Question

    It seems some Adam fans do like Durbin, I am one of those. Those remarks were not direct from James but second hand and out of context so I won’t pass any judgement yet. I’m not sure why so many Adam fans are against James as he certainly isn’t out for the same audience and he hasn’t done Adam any harm. I have his CD in my car now and it’s better than I thought it would be due to the speed it was done and lack of major label backing. I’m one who didn’t vote as my favorites were ones that I’m sure weren’t that popular but I am interested in the results.

    If I were James, I would think that being compared to Adam Lambert would be the highest form of flattery. Sorry James, I know you don’t want to mess with those Glamberts! Frown

    Had another Adam moment this afternoon. Was picking up my “broken” computer at Best Buy when the clerk decided to power it up and show me how great it worked. Of course my screen saver is Adam with his Sleepwalker coat…in the clouds. The girl in the line screamed ADAM LAMBERT!!!! She was young, lip piercings. The 2 clerks never heard of him. LOL. She kept saying “I love his style”. I told her about GN, Paris…she was awe struck. Also about Trespassing in 2012.
    She and her boyfriend were just thrilled. Was glad to make their day. Smile

    I must admit I didn’t vote on the top 16. I just haven’t had time to watch all the videos to decide which song to choose. But will enjoy viewing the results.

    And I must admit I don’t particularly like Durbin, his voice or his persona. But I just listened to that link from the radio station, and his comment seemed fairly tame compared to the DJ’S who were the ones that kept mentioning Adam, trying to get some sort of reaction out of him.

    About James comment on Adams hair. One fan on twitter to another,” Actually we’ve dissed Adam’s hair more than that.” Her Adam fan friend replied,” Don’t confuse rabid fans with facts. Laugh Grin Smile ” Adam has a fan base that’s a force to be reckoned with. He has lots of nice fans (like here) but he does have a whole lot of BSC ones too and very verbal too. Really Pissed Hope we have some new Adam news and pictures soon as boredom is setting in.

    There may be more of us reading than posting. I’ve spent November doing NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) and since the deadline for that matched the deadline for the songs, I just didn’t have time to take a look and vote. I’m sure I will love all of the songs that make the list.

    I am not a fan of Durbin, but in his defense this time, I don’t think he was trying to say anything bad about Adam. That dj just kept goating him until he said something goofy. I mean, it’s the hair. Now IMO Adam’s hair on his worst day is many times better than Durbin’s hair could ever be.
    I hate that these little things bring out the nastiness in some fans such as in the comments under the interview clip.

    I listened to the interview. I don’t care what Durbin says…or what he does. But the thing that bothers me is that his fans says Adam fans are mean and OTT, well I see alot of his fan says pretty mean things about Adam every chance they get. Actually alot of times alot of different fandoms will join together against Adam and it is just so tiring. I think I will not be visiting alot of sites when Adam releases his new single, because I can see it now how it will be.
    There are alot of nice fans in other fandoms though that just stay neutral…like I usually do about other idols that I don’t follow.

    Sorry aboit this post…Like I said I usually do not say anything negative…but this Durbin thing somehow got turned around into Adam fans being OTT…There is always excuses for anything any other idol says.

    I’m out now and sorry once again.

    Please don’t throw tomatoes. Would anyone EVER say they didn’t like the new music? I don’t think so and we would never hear about it anyway. I am worried about all this praise going on and on and on. It bothers me to keep hearing all this “to die for” music. The bar is set so high. I want a great album like anyone else but all this sounds too good to be true. I certainly hope it will be true.

    Ron, the whole CD isn’t coming out til March. I think RCA is playing the single, which must be finished. But Adam could still be putting finishing touches on other tracks……
    Gahhhh! I hate that Christmas and New Year’s are standing between us and new music!!! Normally, I like them but now, I want them to hurry up and be enjoyed and over ASAP. *ducks*

    I’m with riskylady and feel that the single is most likely a done deal by now with the other album tracks not far behind.

    I know what you mean by too much hype, luval. It is always difficult to live up to expectations that are set incredibly high. In this case, I know that I will not be disappointed as long as I have Adam’s beautiful voice on each of the songs. I really don’t ask for a whole lot more than that. Wink

    I was hoping one of his charities would but a calendar out as a fundraiser. One of the other fandoms I was in, had this happen three years in a row. I still have all of them, as great pictures. I guess I’ll have to make my own. I could copy pictures but it wouldn’t be the same and I’d like new Lee Cherry pictures on shiny paper. On twitter I heard that Tommy’s fans have a calendar for sale. If you hear of anyone making one of Adam let me know. Hi Luval, thanks for the info.
