After a very eventful past month for Adam and his fans, December has arrived. Adam enjoyed quite a bit of publicity during November, including an epic performance with Queen at the EMAs, a Rolling Stone interview, a mentoring appearance on Majors & Minors, and his return to the AMA stage (unfortunately only as a presenter this time around). Still no new music for us to enjoy with our holiday feasts, but all the signs currently point to the lead single from Adam’s new album being released in January.

Update 7 PM 12/14: as per Adam’s tweets today, “Better Than I Know Myself”, the lead single from his new album “Trespassing”, will be released on Tuesday, December 20th!

    Ok I got to the winners now. This is the first time I haven’t had a clear favorite, or a team I wanted to lose badly. But this is one of my favorite reality shows.

    Adam looks in his early twenties in those two pics. Sauli had better stop tanning and smoking or he’ll start looking older than Adam.

    And Adam’s skin looks wonderful there, too. Hope he’s been able to correct some of the damage from the teenage acne – he got so much ugly shit from haters who avoided mentioning anything about the beautiful rest of him.

    eyeflyer I have a question about the Top 16. We had a tie at 16 and we have two 16’s counted, then 15 is next. Then we have a tie at 11? and two 10’s counted but no 11. Not that I am complaining cause anyway you want to do it is fine I am just confused.
    Or am I just missing something totally obvious to everyone else, which is very possible.

    Thanks, Ron – love those pics – they’re from way back – forget the actual time they were taken. Hope Adam’s still doing the running – sure Sauli must be an inspiration – he goes out 4-5 days a week according to, I think, his blog. (Don’t think Adam is too fond of exercise, but, nevertheless, his agility and strength on stage are impressive.)

    Ok, this is getting fun, we’re down to the top 5. So far, I’ve got 9 of the 12, for a 75% hit rate. Smile

    Here are my predictions for the top 5, in no particular order:

    glambotgram, the ties were for 16th, 10th and 4th. In each case, the next lower number in the list is dropped. Since the first tie was for 16th place, and I wanted to complete the countdown in 16 days, both of those songs were posted at once (and we actually ended up with a Top 17). For the 10th place and 4th place ties, 11th and 5th place are dropped, and one song in the tie is posted the first day (when the 11th/5th place song would have been posted), with the other song in the tie posted the second day.

    On Monday, the first song tied for 4th place will be posted (selected randomly from the two that were tied – not in alphabetical order or anything).

    Oh Neil Neil Neil. Neil just posted a story on his blog about his “adventures” at an In N Out Burger. (In N Out is an EXTREMELY popular chain of burger joints in California that ALWAYS have v-e-r-y long lines at the drive-thrus). Neil is an excellent writer and quite the provocateur. He’s got quite the story here. Good thing he didn’t get hurt, that’s all I’m gonna say! It’s a great read:

    I read Neils story, kinda funny, and kinda sad and scary. LOL I just ate at In and Out, Friday, there burger is ok, talk about crowded, from when we went in tell we left, they went thru over 100 serving numbers. It was in Redding CA. I actually like Five Guys burgers the best, I went there in Tampa, but now living in NOCal, they are building a 5 Guys in Redding. Back to Neil, the guys girlfriend actually walked out of the car and left the stupid guy? Now Neil is afraid he will be looking for him? Good thing he doesnt look like Adam too much, Adam would be to easy to spot, but hey he has his body guard with him, the Finn, lol, I dont really like what they call him on the Home Planet, I wont mention it here.

    DCGlam, I swear I’m the best behaved of the four of us listed! Those other 3 are always up to something! I’m innocent!!….well….until proven guilty. Grin I’d join twitter if I were you just to keep an eye on those 3. Laugh

    Haha Miss Chaos – EVERYTIME we drive from Oregon to California and back, we stop at that In N Out in Redding! It’s our tradition. It’s always a mob scene there, no matter what time of day it is. But it never ceases to amaze me how they handle those huge crowds so well.

    Brian May effuses again. I love what he said about working with Adam. When asked about highlights of the past year:

    “The MTV Awards was a highlight, I gotta say, working with Adam Lambert properly was a thrill, he is a wonderful singer, a great performer I think. That was a highlight for me.”

    I especially loved how he emphasized the word “thrill” in the audio of the interview. Good to know that we fans aren’t the only ones who get a thrill out of Adam’s performances! Smile

    I am seriously in “crush” with Brian May. Closest to a violin anyone has played guitar IMHO, well maybe except Prince. Just read his blog about the eclipse, and about an ancient tree in the Canary Islands. He’s just brilliant.

    Kradamour, have you started getting your Rolling Stone mag? Have about 4 issues so far. Today getting the double issue. Have to say I am enjoying it. So much interesting info about the current music business. Some good, some not so good. And tours for 2012! Yikes, Springsteen announces now for his tour. RS just better be nice to Adam.     Actually I found it quite interesting. Their political commentary is sometimes more in-depth than a lot of what is out there, sadly. I only subscribed for BB but I think I will actually read it. Smile

    And I think ultimathule started subscribing again same time as us. I read the letters to the editor about the Clooney article in my double issue. He sounds like the movie star version of Adam. A lot of fun, cracking jokes, making everyone laugh. After they wrapped he made a point of shaking hands with everybody…crew, etc. This is why he’s so respected in Hollywood and is a model of how entertainers should be. I think Adam is exactly the same.

    I’ve always been so attracted to GC — wow, just love the good looks, sex appeal, talent, and class act that radiates from him.
