And that’s a wrap! QAL ended their Rhapsody tour after 36 sold-out shows over 10 weeks. Now it’s time for some well-deserved rest for the guys while we suffer from concert withdrawal. However, we won’t have to wait too long to see Adam on stage again as he announced a solo “The Witch Hunt” mini-tour with shows in Las Vegas and SoCal in October.

    ‘s upcoming musical is about JOBRIATH. Adam has an particular affinity to the 70s and he’s gay, too. It’s the tragedy of a promising artist, a cult glam rocker like Bowie and an amazing pianist. It would be great to rediscover him!

    2/3 – The 70s were the decade of gay liberation after Stonewall. Political organizations were founded, gay bars, gay sex clubs opened, a seemingly new freedom and GAY PRIDE ?️‍? was born (one more topic of Adam). This also had an influence on the music scene.

    3/3 – But the sales strategy from Jobriath’s record label to sell him as the “FIRST GAY GLAM ROCK STAR” didn’t work 1973. A commercial failure.
    And then sadly the virus came and Jobriath died young and lonely on aids.
