After a killer Queen + Adam Lambert of a July, the 5-star QAL tour is soon to wind down with only 3 concerts left. It wraps up in Houston, Texas and then the guys have a well-deserved break. Hopefully, we’ll get some more new music from Adam – or it will be the sound of crickets here for awhile – until they get together again for the UK/European leg in November.

    twilightmagic8), Tyler was (is?) a member of the Queen Extravganza that Marc Martel is lead singer. I think the inference is that Tyler is more loyal to that band than QAL. And also that he put Adam’s name last when he thanked everyone

    luval, Thanks for clarifying Tyler’s text. I get it now. Yes, he wants to look loyal to Marc & Queen Extravaganza.
    You can bet there was some and back & forth communication during this tour? Wink
    The part I didn’t like was this comment:

    swaggertx Adam Lambert might fit the role one way or another perhaps, but Marc should definitely be the one on stage.

    This could be taken in many ways concerning Adam. They are not referring to his singing.
    I think Tyler did a great job, during this leg of the Tour.
    Maybe Rufus will be back for Europe?

    After many hours of diligent research, my fave video of It’s Late. IRONICALLY perhaps, it’s the 2nd one I heard live, but riddle’s capture is PERFECT! Adam’s voice in the forefront, instruments just right not drowning him out, more emotive IMHO. If they don’t add this and Spread Your Wings to UK/EU or Oz/NZ, my wish is for it to be the Queen cover next tour!

    I thought it was pretty bitchy of Pink to put her DEMO of WWFM on HER greatest hits album, as technically it was a cover, Adam being the official published artist of record who made it a hit. She also sang it on her European tour, leading some to think Adam’s recording was the cover and pissing off lots of Glamberts.
