After a killer Queen + Adam Lambert of a July, the 5-star QAL tour is soon to wind down with only 3 concerts left. It wraps up in Houston, Texas and then the guys have a well-deserved break. Hopefully, we’ll get some more new music from Adam – or it will be the sound of crickets here for awhile – until they get together again for the UK/European leg in November.

    Now that the concerts are finished, may I request that everyone that went to see a concert (or 2,4 or 7!), to take a minute and update cwm’s chart on the planning thread? I know a lot more ALL’ers went than listed (texaswannaholdem and cher for example) or went to more concerts than they originally planned. Think it would be nice to have a record for posterity’s sake!

    Making a 12 or even 9-10 song album in 2017 when all the focus zeroes on to 1-3 songs (if ur lucky) just seems silly. Just a thought ?

    What a way to end the North American tour. Mardi Blitz periscope was the best in any show I’ve seen. And I really hate periscopes. (whatever happened to livestreaming). Anyway it will be interesting to see what Adam will do in these next 3 months before the tour ramps up again in Europe. The George Michael tribute is coming up but that’s a fund raiser. Possibility there may be no videos.

    Interesting and comforting to have been under and over those same clouds with Brian, Adam, Roger, and the boys.

    Rainy windy and cloudy in Houston yesterday. I saw some gorgeous clouds and the full moon and sunset colors on my flight out of Houston yesterday. Wanted to take pics, but the lady next to me , I had the window seat, and I got to talking, phone was turned off, I just looked and remarked how lovely it was, until I dozed a bit.

    But, the clouds were gorgeous yesterday from the plane. More than I have ever seen before. I had to fly to Atlanta , then home. Absurd. But, I’m home.

    Flew Southwest. Wouldn’t have seen Adam on his flight. Dammit.

    Oh, and I don’t live in LA.

    Lol

    Sigh.

    It’s over.

    Marc Martel has said, “that Adam Lambert was the perfect fit for Queen”.
    He would be smart to say it again. Otherwise, it appears that he looks like a martyr. His manager, is trying to stroke his clients’ ego’s. Someone is holding a grudge and ‘jealousy’ can be cruel.
    It’s not just the singing, but acting and confident in portraying all of Queen’s catalog of songs. Can’t even imagine Marc, singing Killer Queen, with all of the campy confidence and skill.
    Don’t quite get the drummer insinuation?
    Jealousy can take on hurtful action’s.

    twilightmagic8), Tyler was (is?) a member of the Queen Extravganza that Marc Martel is lead singer. I think the inference is that Tyler is more loyal to that band than QAL. And also that he put Adam’s name last when he thanked everyone

    …which is the stupidest thing I ever heard of. And they think Tyler probably feels the same way that Marc should be the lead singer. People want Rufus back.

    I just don’t understand the hate for this guy. He does a great job on the drums…Roger picked him for the tour. He doesn’t make waves on social media.

    I think it’s jealousy … plain & simple.
