After a killer Queen + Adam Lambert of a July, the 5-star QAL tour is soon to wind down with only 3 concerts left. It wraps up in Houston, Texas and then the guys have a well-deserved break. Hopefully, we’ll get some more new music from Adam – or it will be the sound of crickets here for awhile – until they get together again for the UK/European leg in November.

    Did you say you have a copy, luval? Checked Amazon – it’s about $50 – pretty much good reviews with one caveat –

    “Could’ve seriously used an editor to rein him in. I’m sorry, I love him and I know he’s quite the activist nowadays, but I didn’t get excited over this book only to read Brian’s opinions on fox hunts, horse racing and wearing real fur. And that’s not all he opines over. I mean, hey, bless ya for having opinions and convictions, but that’s not what this is all about. Brian’s Soapbox is for that. Twitter is for that. This is for Queen and memories and giving fans an inside look.”

    I thought that it might be T for Trans but apparently it’s T for Truth.

    I have the Queen in 3-D book, and it’s beautiful. Whoever wrote that very entitled opinion is IMHO a typical asshat of the type that frequent the Q site, and think they can dictate to Brian and Roger what to do with THEIR band.
    It’s Brian’s book, with Brian’s personal photographs, written entirely by Brian. He can write whatever the fuck he wants in it. He and Roger are the only ones caring for the legacy now, and it belongs to them now – or Queen would be in the dusty graveyard of barely remembered and irrelevant old bands, played from time to time on some classic rock radio. Instead of playing to sold-out arenas with tons of new younger fans mixed in – many I believe because of their young frontman.

    The Monopoly game seems to be unavailable, luval – have you tracked it down anywhere?

    Have a number of Queen “picture” books, including one “40 Years of Queen” with Forewords by Brian and Roger (has facsimiles from the Band’s collection of memorabilia – tickets/playbills/letters/menus (all pull-outs) – really great).
