After a killer Queen + Adam Lambert of a July, the 5-star QAL tour is soon to wind down with only 3 concerts left. It wraps up in Houston, Texas and then the guys have a well-deserved break. Hopefully, we’ll get some more new music from Adam – or it will be the sound of crickets here for awhile – until they get together again for the UK/European leg in November.

    May I please add, woe is me, mea culpa, I mentioned how warm and cozy nkd’s house is, but I omitted how sweet nkd hubby is, how flexible he was to allow all these Glamberts to sleep in his house.shower in his bath, and eat in his kitchen!!!

    And then there’s our nkd.

    Where do I even start?

    I just love her bunches. From the get go. She is hands down one of the sweetest most kind and genuinely funny and naughty people I have ever known.

    Not only is her house lovely, with a newly redone kitchen that belongs in a magazine, but when you combine it with her southern hospitality, well, it just felt like home.

    And, thanks to callighou and nkd for treating all of us to the BBQ a palooza. It was unexpected, but very generous. If I have omitted Texaswannaholdem from anything, I humbly apologize!

    Getting to know all these gals was such a delight. Spending more time with cher was special. Floridagirl and I had a great heart to heart. It’s amazing how much we all have in common. Texaswannaholdem is lovely, funny and pretty naughty too.

    I feel so fortunate, lucky and blessed to have the real life connections we have made this summer.

    Corny but true.

    I am also mystified by people bringing young kids to rock shows. Have to say though, of all I think Queen is the most family friendly. Have seen kids at several of our shows and didn’t see any leaving. But, the logic of them staying through TwoFux and THEN leaving after GDML (which wasn’t even very graphic) is even more mystifying!

    One More Try just about broke my heart, you could tell it had meaning for him. I was remembering one of his very very early interviews (before he closed up) talking about his first unpleasant experiences. He sang like the old Upright Cabaret singing.
    Faith and STL were outstanding too. Never fails to give 110%!
    I bet he committed at least to match GM’s contributions, or more, though he won’t want it announced.

    Bullcrap!!! I heard on the tv in germany they played Kesha singing “motherfucking” at 8am!!! Its his label doing shit!

    I think since Idol @adamlambert showed this world only like 20% of his potential.

    I love adam lambert but his song after hours is such a trash

    Shawn Mendes sounds like crying cat. But his teenage girl fans dont mind cos all they care about is if singer is cute.

    rs, enjoyed your recap of the Tel Aviv concert. I often watch that full concert video, one of their best concerts IMHO. That whole tour was historic as Queen had never performed in any of those places except for the 3 nights at the Budokan in Tokyo (which is historic in itself). Adam is filling in Brian and Roger’s bucket list for sure!!
    Hopefully you won’t be alone in future concerts!!
