Adam starts off August down under in Australia and New Zealand as he continues his global promotion for his new album. TV performances on The Voice and the Today Show are followed by a show in New Zealand. Adam then heads back to the US where he will headline the iHeart WSOBV concert. The ESKA music awards is next along with some other European promo stops before he heads (most likely) to England to reconnect with Brian and Roger for rehearsals for their South American concerts in September. And who knows what else will happen between the scheduled events!

    I saw that, too, luval and I don’t get it. Some fans disliked Brian when he was MD but he hasn’t done anything that merits ongoing anger, imho. There’s no reason to think that he and Adam have had a falling out. The music business is all about “have instrument will travel” and everybody needs to eat.

    Whew!! Catching up, just sent son #2 back to NY early this morning, and the nest is empty once again.

    Heard Ghost Town on the radio during drive home commute time twice last week on our IHeartRadio station, 97.3. Elvis Duran is on in the morning.

    I started listening again because one of my workberts told me she had heard it the day prior around 5PM.

    So, after work that day, I literally got in my car in the parking structure, turned on the radio, and thought to myself, ‘yeah, right, they’ll play it again” , so there was the end of Sheeran’s Photograph song and then, the guitar chords and whistle and it was GT and I was smiling so hard it almost hurt!

    That’s not the best part.

    After the song, the female DJ said ” and that was Adam LLLLambert with Ghost Town. You know. LLLLLLambert.

    To me, whenever an interviewer or announcer says it that way, this is what I hear:

    ” And that was Adam LLLLam–the guy who is so freaking hawt I can barely stand it take it or understand it He makes me shiver quiver and have wicked thoughts he makes me want to scream his name from a rooftop and dream of 100 things to do to him and don’t touch him other skanks because he’s mine and mine alone muhahahhaaha and he needs 100 top 10 hits because then I get to watch him hear him and ogle him and drool over him because he makes my special places quiver nobody else can sing like him nobody else is so gorgeous and nice and sweet and funny and sassy and naughty and silly and he’s just the perfect package and oh, I get to say his name out loud and have private thoughts—bert.”

    And then he was on at 3:45 the next day too.

    Happy Birthday to all I have missed lately. Happy retirement cwm. Had the pleasure of a long chat with Jojosie on the phone the other night. Sending her lots of hugs and friendship.

    Okay, off to the beach for a long walk and try to grab the last of summer while we can.

    Yep! He could be annoying but I always thought that he had Adam’s blessing. Remember when Adam unexpectedly left the stage during a performance and the band had to keep going for 5 minutes or so? Brian made it worse because he seemed thrown by the moment and had absolutely NO patter whatsoever. It seemed to me that the ad libs became frequent after that; that perhaps Brian started doing it because Adam told him he needed to know how to fill those kind of gaps. Regardless, he wasn’t very good at it.

    Got home just in time for Adam’s intro and I went to the audio stream. It took three songs for me to find the periscope video. Sound isn’t that great but you can tell that he is killing it!

    I am back to school as are my two kids and it is crazy busy right now. Little time to spend online. I am confident Adam is on a very good road now, so I am less nervous about chart positions and just enjoy his performances.
