Adam_Instagram-Sweden

Adam starts off August down under in Australia and New Zealand as he continues his global promotion for his new album. TV performances on The Voice and the Today Show are followed by a show in New Zealand. Adam then heads back to the US where he will headline the iHeart WSOBV concert. The ESKA music awards is next along with some other European promo stops before he heads (most likely) to England to reconnect with Brian and Roger for rehearsals for their South American concerts in September. And who knows what else will happen between the scheduled events!

    Some peeps on twitter are wondering why all of a sudden he’s doing the Elvis look. I think it’s from the MV, as I said or could be that’s his vibe now. He’s said this. Who knows? I love it. Now if he’ll only let the sides grow a smidgen so he can brush it back. Smile

    Oh yes, I was also immediately struck by Adam’s Elvis look tonight. He looked so gorgeous (in spite of the waiter outfit)! And his voice was even better- so beautiful and smooth as silk. Sigh! Back to the videos….

    I can’t wait to see what he has in store for us at tomorrow night’s performance.

    I love the side by sides too. I don’t think Adam has to try to look like Elvis, there have been comparisons all the way back to Idol.

    On another note if anyone would like to help out. The lady that started the glowstick thing for Adam..her name is Sue @glows4Adam and she’s in a wheelchair and has been housebound for a long time with many illnesses.     Last month my daughter’s bestie went to Israel to visit her relatives. Her family moved to the US since she was young.
    I gave her TOH CDs to take with her and she asked me if I wanted anything from her trip.
    I talked about Hamsa and she was surprised that I knew about it.
    So she brought me a Hamsa keychain. In the back there is a Hebrew inscription.

    Hope I meet you some day and you can read it to me.

    Love the Elvis side by side pics, some of them are uncanny. I’m not 100% sold on the look last night, could have done without the tie..gave me flashbacks a bit to that Grammy red carpet when he had that colonel what’s his name tie on, didn’t like that either. I thought he sounded a little bit nervous at the beginning of GT. Loved ALN, he sounded amazing on it, and loved the reactions from the crowd, and seeing them sing along. And fantastic that he won the award….did we know he was even nominated?

    Hi asif Waving ! I miss you too when I am here alone most mornings. I am glad you got a Hamsa keychain, even though I wish I was the one to give it too you. We were so close, and so far, at Merryweather. The Hebrew writing on the back is probably the Traveler’s Prayer. I had to look hard to find ones with the same thing in English when I bought them for our peeps. We must find a way to meet, hopefully on the TOH tour.

    I am OK, and my father is doing well. He has a lovely man from Sri Lanka living with him and taking care of him. It takes a lot of the worry from me and I will be able to travel without worrying so much, since in the past he refused all help, except from me. I just have to learn to accept the fact that he is an “old man”. He always looked and acted much younger than his age, but at almost 96, his age is showing.

    I still have my hamsa key chain, rs, and I get a lot of comments on it when I fish it out of my purse at the cash register. I like to believe it is a good luck charm and the Traveller’s Prayer is so apt, given all the road-tripping we Glamberts do.

    Don’t feel bad about the tie comments HK fan. I had mixed emotions about Adam’s look, too. Those baggy pants do not show off his best assets and Poland doesn’t get to see Adam in person very often. Can you imagine a Polish Glambert telling her friends how SEXY Adam is and then he shows up in such a demure outfit? ROTFL

    I think the award was told to his people weeks in advance. That’s why he was there. It seemed like such a random event to me for him to appear at. So thinking this, he decides to dress in a more fancy outfit to accept such award instead of rock n roller. My opinion and I’m sticking to it! Laugh

    Oh I agree about the award being announced to his management weeks ago. The outfit is certainly fancy and so was the baggy-panted suit that Adam wore to the UK benefit at The Albert Hall, which was also a prestige event.

    Not sticking to my opinion that much, luval, but Adam’s legs are, to me, what his hair is too you. Big Smile
