As July ends the “Trespassing” touring era now seems to be over with the last show at Paso Robles. But work continues as Adam is to be part of the Glee cast and also is guesting on Avicii’s new single “Lay Me Down”. It may be quiet on the touring front but there are always surprises.     I’m the little old lady here and the Miley act didn’t shock me. Was it good entertainment? No! It’s the VMA’s so it gave the show and her lots of needed media coverage. I loved Adams look but would have liked it better with other shoes but these got him lots of attention, some good,some bad. Seems like lots of Virgo birthdays here.Hope they are all happy. Not one to hold grudges I even sent my ex-husband a happy birthday e-mail. Question

    Is it just me thinking that Adam is defending Miley because he remembers the aftermath of the AMAs all too well? I think Miley’s performance was ill-advised. Where are all those manager people when you really need them? What was Robin Thicke thinking? But for now Miley is getting all the hate and I bet she is feeling the heat. Frankly, nobody impressed me last night. To me Bruno was the best, one of the few that chose music over gimmicks.

    Totally agree turquoise, Bruno was fantastic. And except for Adam’s moments, the rest of the show was a stink bomb.

    Whatever. Adam moved on to the tweet about Niles and stopped. But, Miley’s songs are in the top 5 on iTunes, Katy Perry still #1, Gaga down at 6, but album-wise, Miley is in top ten overall, #6 I believe, just after Katy and Timberlake. Some rock and country before them, and John Meyer is #1. Gaga down to 8 and Thicke is 9. So, Miley gave herself some good promo.
    We’ll see what the fallout is over the next few days, but I think it will be minor.
