As July ends the “Trespassing” touring era now seems to be over with the last show at Paso Robles. But work continues as Adam is to be part of the Glee cast and also is guesting on Avicii’s new single “Lay Me Down”. It may be quiet on the touring front but there are always surprises.     So much second-rate music on this show – Adam seems almost out of place here. Even with all the crazy, silly things he sometimes does, there’s an essential elegance about him that always comes through.

    The Ga Ga picture is photo shopped. They cut out JHud and put in GG. I am amazed how fast people can manipulate stuff. And even more amazed that people figure it out so quickly.

    Just got up and I am going through last night’s thread. I will watch the taped show later, or rather fast forward through for the good parts. ulti, I don’t think that JHud was mad at Adam, I think she was in agony from her feet! On that red carpet vid when she was next to Adam, she could hardly stand, her ankles were shaking, and she needed help walking a few steps down the red carpet! Those shoes are insanely high and all these years after Women’s Lib, I don’t understand why women voluntarily submit themselves to such torture.

    wow, he looked stunning….even with the beardSmile

    Love the suit and shirt….but I don’t like the shoes, I really enlarged a pic to get a close up, and definately won’t go onto my favourite shoes of Adam list.

    He did great at presenting, much better than Emilie Sande, she seemed to have no energy….and has a really high hairline..

    He looked great on the photo call youtube, very relaxed, not like JHud, could she have sucked her stomach in any further, or pushed her boobs out anymore, and to wear shoes that you are unable to walk even a few paces in without help is ridiculous…..(sorry don’t like her, she always looks so up herself, like in the photos with Adam).

    Haven’t watched any of the show yet, where abouts does his come on…incase I don’t want to watch the whole thing…

    and lastly….move over Beiber,, there is a new teen sensation in the room.

    Gaga was great, enjoyed that.

    Miley…..sooo embarrassing for her, she can’t dance very well, she’s trying to be all hip but just comes of pathetic…

    Katy……just seemed lacking tonight, a bit dull, something was missing.

    Good morning! Mixed blessings of being in the ‘wrong’ time zone – stayed up until 2am to watch the red carpet and then went to bed. So I saw Adam being gorgeous and funny at the photo line – loved his interaction with the young woman while they waited for La Hudson to totter off – just so Adam!
    Didn’t have to sit through the show and now just got up to see youtube of Adam presenting. This sort of gig suits him so well – he comes across so relaxed and natural.
    Possibly my favourite red carpet look for him – brownish hair, perfect degree of melvin, stunning suit, unbuttoned shirt, quirky shoes and the return of polished nails – totally gorgeous!!!

    Off to look explore some more youtubes!

    They have always worn the helmets HK Fan, even while performing. It is their thing. Nobody (that is from the public) knows what they look like. Nile wrote about it a while ago. He joked that he knows what they look like, of course.

    The contrast between them is unbelievable. He is so relaxed and self assured, and she looks, well, ridiculous, so stiff, like a manikin, and not a very good one at that. Can’t take a step by herself, and after each step she needs her assistant to pull down her skirt for her. You would think that Adam was the one with the household name and Oscar and not the other way around. I didn’t watch her on Idol, so I don’t have an opinion, but I feel sorry for her. Bad things have happened to her and her family, and all her fame hasn’t given her any real confidence in herself or her image. She went and lost all that weight (too much if you ask me) but inside she is still an insecure fat girl, always needing validation from others. Adam, on the other hand, had the strength and unconditional family love, support, and security to cast off that image and move on. I might be totally off the mark, but those are my morning musings for today.

    Morning! Thanks for the early birthday wishes. Never too early or too late to celebrate is my theory. My son and his girlfriend came home this weekend and we ended up having some family friends over for a cookout. Great motivation to finally get my deck ready for entertaining. 75degrees, no humidity, and no bugs! Totally amazing.

    Didn’t our boy look handsome last night? I couldn’t make myself watch the show but I knew there would be plenty of press and vids for my viewing pleasure. The little bit I tried to watch seemed so odd. Was the audience all behind multiple GA areas????

    NorthernSpirit sorry to hear about your back. Thankfully you will soon have Sauli on ice and Adam on Glee to keep you occupied.

    I did watch Jhud on Idol either rs…..at least I certainly don’t remember her, my opinion of her is the few things I’ve seen since.

    But you’re right, the difference between them is like chalk and cheese.

    Haven’t seen any bad press about Mileys awful act yet surprisingly….although 98% of the comments on the ones I have seen are very negative.

    Been in a company of visitors since Sat afternoon, so I had no idea about this VMA thing, it came so suddenly! But it’s always great to catch up things here later, TY!. aely and asif, I admire your ability to follow information and bring it here almost 24/7 Heart! I am anyway always late for anything that happens evening time at the other side of Atlantic… Boy (or I'd say Man Smile ) looked so stylish and handsome! You guys really got chatty about it Grin

    Thanks adamized, and happy birthday on the real day Smile I was mislead before about it… Yep a lot of things to watch this fall – but I have to figure out where to watch glee 5 episodes, on our tv it’s season 4 this fall Frown. Not a problem though I think. And I love ice skating/dancing and this is the first season of DOI in Finland, so I surely watch it. The shows Sauli is in come on best prime tv time, both early on Saturday evenings, I hope they bring him success and he finds his own path career vice. Gonna check his own show too.

    Lol cwm, I think the wildness of my dating life is mainly in my mind atm… But I met this guy some weeks ago (from the net dates), we first wrote each other intensively and when we met, it was so easy to talk about anything, very personal things too, immediately. We became err… friends? Not any crush on my side, but he is chatty, fun and nice and refreshing very open minded person. He has visited me some times during my poor condition and kept me company. He knows now all about my obsession and is not shocked at all Grin A straight guy who had guts to say that Adam moves very well & sexy (I showed him GNT DVD yesterday), is hot and that Adam is a guy he could very well kiss Grin. Also he had seen queenbert vids and thought Adam was very good. I guess I will educate him more later… about Adam I mean Wink

    Ok, so I just watched through the whole show (while doing other stuff, of course). The only performance that I really liked and that got my attention in a positive and emotional way was Macklemore. Miley was just awful and lewd for the sake of being lewd, with no redeeming artistic value. She is trying so hard to break away from the Hannah Montana image and prove to everyone that she is an adult now….but it is just sad. The thing that kept going through my head was, what are her parents thinking now? (I saw an E! special about her this weekend and they talked a lot about her relationship with her parents.) Everything else (except, of course for the whole reason I watched, our beautiful boy’s shining moment on the stage) was eminently forgettable, including Gaga, who just seemed to be working too hard to get back her former glory, but it isn’t working and nothing is new, so now she is resorting to showing skin.

    Of course, this is all just my opinion and I am not tuned into pop music culture, except for Adam, so what do I know?

    Inside the arena, too, it seemed as if not paying direct attention was the norm, if the cutaway shots during the show of the famous and bored were any indication – One Direction studiously mute during the brief ‘NSync reunion, Drake averting his eyes as Miley Cyrus twerked, Rihanna barely moving her head for anyone.

    To be fair to the celebrities trapped inside the Barclays Center, though, there wasn’t much to look at during the VMAs this year, and even less reason to look at it.
