As July ends the “Trespassing” touring era now seems to be over with the last show at Paso Robles. But work continues as Adam is to be part of the Glee cast and also is guesting on Avicii’s new single “Lay Me Down”. It may be quiet on the touring front but there are always surprises.     Love the Creamfields Avicii. There was another festival in Leeds UK this weekend. Has always been a nightmare of mine to ever go an outdoor festival that turns out like this.

    I love some of the Lavin suits too, I think he will have one of the more casual ones, aren’t MTV awards more casual than the rest of the award shows?

    The Leeds pictures do look just like Woodstock photos, it was the first thing I thought of.

    The third photo (I think) they were walking through several inches of mud & water. Yuck! This might have been Sonisphere if it wasn’t cancelled. I like that Woodstock movie. Haven’t seen it in a few years. Wasn’t Woodstock II a mess also?

    You are right about Sonisphere, We spent that weekend in “charming” Stevenage, because they wouldn’t refund the money we paid for the hotel, and it did rain a lot. But all was not lost.That was the weekend that we (cher,riskylady, and I) met Meips (give her a hug for me when you see her, paulanation, and M&P. We joined another group of fans (one of whom I saw again in San Diego) for a preplanned Glambert Dinner at a Greek restaurant, and we went punting on the river at Cambridge University. All in all, a lovely weekend. And a week later…a proper full Queen and Adam concert! Dance

    Maybe Adam is not presenting a VMA award but is announcing an act…Daft Punk maybe as someone mentioned (mils?). I predict there will be SCREAMING when he shows up on stage.

    Anyone see One Direction on the Today Show Friday? Biggest crowd they’ve ever had yet I thought it was very subdued when the boys sang. Really surprised. Kids just wanted to get their faces on tv when the camera panned over them.

    I’m going to throw my two cents in here too.
    I think that black suit he’s been wearing may be the Lanvin suit, looking at the styling on it.
    He has been in NY for a week so who knows? I’m sure he did some shopping, although he was busy amazing us at AFTEE and recording new songs. Kick ass songs! 3 of them!

    I’m still so excited about the recording sessions.
    We’ve been babysitting this weekend. Keeping up with a 23 month old is not as easy as it used to be!
    I totes fail at toddler napping! Big Frown
    We’ve had a great time but are exhausted!
