As July ends the “Trespassing” touring era now seems to be over with the last show at Paso Robles. But work continues as Adam is to be part of the Glee cast and also is guesting on Avicii’s new single “Lay Me Down”. It may be quiet on the touring front but there are always surprises.     Hi ulti! Thanks for all your posting. Sometimes it’s overwhelming, especially when I’ve been away for a few days but I always appreciate your links and posts. Did you notice that Titanium is on the top ten list? Think that this is due to Angie and Adam’s AI duet?

    Added the AFTEE Nile Rodgers Dance Party to the Upcoming Shows/Events. Adam is mentioned as a guest performer on Nile’s Facebook so should be there. He may only sing one or two songs (Shady, Lay Me Down) though but I can still put up a thread for it.

    Hi gang! I’m just back from my trip to Peru and am trying to catch up on everything. My goodness, y’all are a chatty bunch, even during a relatively “quiet” time! I love the new collab with Avicii and am looking forward to hearing a high-quality version of Lay Me Down. Excited for everyone who can go to the just-announced show with Nile in the Hamptons – I hope that someone from here can go!

    Just want to add – Peru is amazing. We went to Lima first (work conference for me), then after Lima the real adventure began. We went to Cuzco, the Sacred Valley, and Machu Picchu over the course of several days. It was all amazing and wonderful – beautiful landscapes, amazing ruins, dramatic history, charming villages, vibrant colors, warm and interesting people, enchanting music.

    But the real highlight, without a doubt, was Machu Picchu. Machu Picchu is so spectacular and so breathtaking, it defies description. Absolutely incredible. I could hardly believe that I was actually there and that it was real. That awe-inspiring ancient city built on top of that gorgeous mountain deep in the Andean jungle – the gestalt is overwhelming in its beauty and sacred power. You must put it on your bucket list.

    I want you all to know that I very deliberately took you, my friends, up to the top of that sacred mountain with me. I wanted to carry my friendships in my heart to that sacred place, so I wore my infinity symbol necklace that day (as well as another necklace that connects me to my dear local friends). The infinity symbol represented my connection to you, my friends, as well as our connection to the infinite, which is so apparent in that place. So you were there with me in spirit at Machu Picchu last Saturday 7/27. Did you feel it? Heart

    Welcome back, cwm. Machu Picchu is on my bucket list. Don’t have a bucket list yet but that will be on it when I start one!

    I would go to the Hamptons if I didn’t have the possibility of Las Vegas in the back of my mind. Like AL said, probably 2 songs. Am still waiting for tickets to come down on stubhub. They are now a little below $600.00 for a single ticket. I’ve entered several radio station things, even a beef jerky company has a connection with the festival! Entered that too. But it’s pretty impossible to “win your way in” as they say.

    Hmmm, nice eclectic collection of artists on CherryTree, many with very good reputations as quality musicians (Keane, Sting, for example) and Adam’s friend Ivy Levan. Might be a nice fit for him, especially if he wants to have a career not solely based on recording geared to radio play, but also heavy on live performing and other types of entertainment (TV?).
    Whatever. One tweet isn’t enough to base a label on, though.

    I looked at the artists and think it could be a good fit. I love love love La Roux…she tweeted happy birthday wishes to Nile Rogers and got a very complimentary reply from him.
    There is some sophisticated music on that roster, not just what risky calls “rap and crap”.

    Sooo….did Adam draw any cherry trees in that little video?

    Krad, there is a Nile connection with CherryTree too (6 degrees of Nile lol everywhere). He is close friends with Sting and wife. Remember, they were going to be at his benefit but couldn’t make it, then he did a later event with them. Sting is with CherryTree. I think Nile and Queen are determined to help Adam.
