As July ends the “Trespassing” touring era now seems to be over with the last show at Paso Robles. But work continues as Adam is to be part of the Glee cast and also is guesting on Avicii’s new single “Lay Me Down”. It may be quiet on the touring front but there are always surprises.     I love that we get better and better versions of Lay me down Big Smile Can’t wait for the studio version!

    Crossing here toes and fingers that I am able to travel to Helsinki to meet aely. My back pain is very bad now, I have hardly been able to sit for two weeks Frown It has literally layed me down at home. I read a lot of books, watch tv and listen to/watch Adam. But I hope two weeks make the situation better.

    Good morning. I ordered Aura about a month ago but haven’t heard a thing. Anybody else waiting for theirs?

    asif, thank you for those Sauli photos. I really like the guy and enjoy all the dancing shows. I think he’ll be great. The costumes are always so over the top.

    Luval thats strange and you should e-mail her. I used her pay pal option and then e-mailed her my address. she responded that my my order was received and I got Aura about a week or so later. I’m glad Adam liked it. I have lots of magazines that have articles or covers of Adam, but this is all Adam and very nicely done. Happy birthday Adamized.

    Hi luval! I hope you get your copy of AURA soon. I received one from Northern Spirit as an early birthday present and it’s heart-warming to see the contributions of so many fans in print.

    It is so wonderful to know that Adam has seen and read through it. The fact that he got it at AFTEE and may have been able to show it to Nile and Avicii is a bonus. If Avicii was wondering at all about the strength and size of Adam’s fan base, it must have bowled him over to see such a concentrated expression of effort and love.

    One of the things that sets Glamberts apart from other fan bases, imho, is a highly developed sense of community. We don’t just take videos, we edit multiple versions into fined-tuned, mini-masterpieces. We don’t just take photos, we insert them into posters and collect them into an amazing catalogue that memorializes every live performance Adam has ever given. Fans of other artists make dolls. We have a fan who makes a doll for every outstanding outfit Adam has ever worn. We also have, among us here, a fan who issues a weekly Adam-based crossword!

    Other fans express themselves creatively, of course, but there is an aspect of collective sharing and archiving that sets us apart as a community.

    AURA and BEDLAM, the other magazine, celebrate this as much as they do Adam. Both magazines are amazing.

    Please, for the love of all that’s holy, NO ONE WANTS RANDY JACKSON BACK FOR SEASON 13! (Sorry for the all caps, but the idea of the Dawg’s return makes me feel like there’s an anvil on my chest.) Instead, why not hire Season 6 grad Melinda Doolittle (a master of pitch, phrasing and emotional connection) and Season 8’s Adam Lambert (a legendary risk taker and song selector), then show us candid footage — think Tim Gunn’s critiques on Project Runway — as the duo debates and cajoles and encourages the next generation of Angies and Candices and Lazaros through song selection, arrangement and staging. Bonus: Melinda and Adam are candid, charming and hilarious — something that Randy Jackson and Jimmy Iovine have never been (and never will be).

    I am reminiscing big time, and looking back at Adam’s 1st large audience concerts of, “For Your Entertainment”.

    Each concert has a different energy, and Adam changes things up, and keeps it fresh, and evolving. There were technical problems, with the sound at this venue. Also, Sue the videographer, got her camera confiscated. She usually hide’s pretty good. Anyway, you should still love it. I love his clothes, and he just glows, with talent!
