As July ends the “Trespassing” touring era now seems to be over with the last show at Paso Robles. But work continues as Adam is to be part of the Glee cast and also is guesting on Avicii’s new single “Lay Me Down”. It may be quiet on the touring front but there are always surprises.     When I go to Russia in a couple of weeks I am wearing my equality necklace I got from Pennyroyal. Maybe I should try and find a ring or something else….hmmmm.

    aely, I was in Russia a few years ago for a cruise from St Petersburg to Moscow (including 2 days on my own in St Petersburg before the cruise). I found it to be a beautiful and fascinating country with very friendly people when you got out of the big cities. I can’t imagine that anyone would pay attention to your equality necklace, but don’t do anything that could provoke the authorities!!!!! They wouldn’t think twice about detaining a “suspicious” American woman for questioning. Be careful! They are proud, defensive, sensitive to criticism, and sense that they are being attacked by the rest of the world lately for what they see as a moral stand. As much as I hate their anti gay laws, I worry more for your safety as a single American woman traveling there.

    rs I know you are right. I am still going to wear it but I will be careful. I would never call attention to it or cause any scene. My dad might kill me if I did. I learned my lesson in Turkey. I was actually just asking questions about Islam, etc. and soon realized my curiosity was being viewed as being “American and anti-Islam” and quickly shut up. We were on a tour of the Blue Mosque with a guide so I thought I could talk openly. Ummm, NO would be the answer. I LOVED Turkey and would love to go back but, yes, lesson learned, know your audience.

    adam strikes me as the kind of guy that just wants to go on a couple of fun dates w/ these guys and these guys get real attached real fast

    re Adam having a private FB page, it doesn’t come as a surprise that he has one…..I do find it strange that fans would actively go in search of one and try and hack into it etc…wouldn’t even occur to me. If too much info gets out I suppose he’ll have to close it and start another one.

    That’s a bit odd between Gaga and PH…didn’t they used to be friends, he went to her birthday party before (when Adam ‘punched’ the ceiling..) Not that I like Perez at all, he’s a real lowlife, but maybe he was just visiting someone in the same block! Shouldn’t she be just as worried about the fans stalking outside her apartment block?

    Apparently GG siced her fans on PH and per some they started posting some really nasty stuff.
    What were her fans doing in her apt building anyway? But I agree, when it happened it seemed contrived. And is Twitter the place, if it were real stalking?
    She seems to be losing it, her song not doing well. Per Billboard, it will only sell 200-250k while Roar is predicted at 550k. I read on ONTD that WW positions are dropping fast and never equalled KP, who is holding steady. Other day she tweeted “I am the ONLY icon. All icons are in me.” When you have to call yourself the icon, and claim you are the only artiste, and the best…..you’re not.

    Hi luval – All your posts about AFTEE got me thinking and I went on mapquest to see how long a trip it would be for me. 6 hours, around the same as for you. We could meet in Allentown and go together (it’s about 3 1/2 hrs. from there). What do you think? I know, call me crazy!

    Sparkle…sounds like a perfect idea and something I DEFINITELY would have done but unfortunately I don’t have the time off from work. If only we had known about a week ago. We could have bought the buy one/get one tickets. Coulda, shoulda. It’s their fault!

    It is very annoying how RL gets in the way of being devoted AFL fans! If we just knew someone that could pick us up and take us to the concert by helicopter, we’d be golden!
