As July ends the “Trespassing” touring era now seems to be over with the last show at Paso Robles. But work continues as Adam is to be part of the Glee cast and also is guesting on Avicii’s new single “Lay Me Down”. It may be quiet on the touring front but there are always surprises.     I don’t know who this Victor so&so is and what he is to Adam, but it looks like he raided Adam’s closet, except for the sweatshirt around his waist, and who knows, maybe that too! Wink
    I’m talking about the picture from last night where he was walking in front of Adam.

    Cutie boys in Midnight Red! I like that they are incorporating choreo with their music. It reminds me of N’Sync and BSB a few years back.
    It seems the latest group of boy bands just wander around on stage.

    There were pages to catch up on today, and once again I was away.
    We moved the baby back to school today for her senior year. It’s always a little sad, but woot, the last one in her last year, except perhaps grad school. The last move in!! Dance

    nkd you are right about raiding the closet. Right down to the shoes. HUGE on him. And the pants are way too long (made for a six foot plus guy), so they are rolled up. The jacket and black tee…look like Adam’s.

    I looked up his date of birth. January 14th, 1982. He’s 2 weeks older than Adam. Still can’t figure out what he does.

    For me saying “it’s none of my business” last night I seem to be making it my business. Just sorta looking out for him I guess.

    Yes, the slang for a cigarette is fag. All the British rock groups that used to smoke would use that word all the time.
    Twitter is warring about the pic of Adam smoking. Some saying it’s none of our business, most talking about the health problems. But in an indirect way it is important. Adam himself says he is a role model.

    And “none of our business”? Not sure about that. IMO it’s up to the individual. For me, don’t tell me “it’s none of my business”

    I see a “gate” coming. Hope not, though. This will probably be all forgotten by tomorrow.

    Hello all Smile I’ve lurked here forever and you all seem to be nice people so I thought I’d finally sign up! Probably still be more of a lurker than anything else though as seem to spend all my time catching up after work!
    Regarding the ‘smoking’ issue, I don’t think Adam was misleading anyone, I think it’s definitely this:

    A while ago there was a photo of him entering Bootsy Bellows (I think?) holding a small white box which appears to be the carrying case. I’m a smoker myself (yes, I know) and in the recent photo he was holding the ‘cigarette’ halfway along its length which would be a very odd way to smoke a regular cig – serious danger of burnt fingers!
    Hope you don’t mind my first post being a bit OT but I know there are a lot of people speculating/admonishing on twitter.

    lol, ultimathule. That’s why I put the question mark after each one. Don’t think so. Maybe the elf part. He does look tiny. Reminds me a lot of Drake. Will be interesting to see if he turns out to be a fame W**** and how he handles himself with the paps. And I still can’t get that grabby hand out of my brain!! And he looks high all the time! Maybe he can’t help that! From now on he shall be known as mr. handy. Thank you!

    Know nothing much about smoking – just concerned whether what he’s doing (whatever it is) has an effect on the voice. Any info on that? Thanks.

    Lots of singers use vaporizers to keep their vocal chords moist – remember Adam used to say he had one during Idol tour, and Celine Dion is well known for this also. Maybe Adam likes the Vaporette for that. We don’t know if he is even inhaling, plus they also come in zero nicotine so I’m not worried. He is an adult and he is smart about caring for his voice, as we saw during his grueling GN tour.

    Not an expert on those things but they produce a vapour rather than smoke, no tar etc. According to the website’s ‘about’ page some use essential oils in a sort of aromatherapy way. I really can’t see Adam risking his vocal cords and I suspect he’s jumping on a current trend.

    I had a quick look on google and it’s difficult to get a definitive answer as they are mostly used as a replacement for actual cigarettes and as such are definitely better. As Adam was not to our knowledge a ‘regular’ smoker before it’s hard to see if there would be adverse effects.

    Thanks for the info, Lurker – have relatives who still smoke and wonder if any of these vapor replacements are effective in helping to stop.
