As July ends the “Trespassing” touring era now seems to be over with the last show at Paso Robles. But work continues as Adam is to be part of the Glee cast and also is guesting on Avicii’s new single “Lay Me Down”. It may be quiet on the touring front but there are always surprises.     I noticed the record producer on the GleeWiki page, but he was executive producer of Trespassing.
    Different meanings of record producer, I suppose.

    I remember that tweet aely, but who wrote the wiki page? It seems as if it is all general information, so I’m not sure that they know anything we don’t. The Glee info on there was from Ryan’s tweet and Chris Colfer’s comment on Kelly & Michael.

    Yes, I know Shoshanna told them to stop tweeting but they know things. Not all the details but there always seems to be a small amount of truth in all these rumors that start. Shoshanna is going to deny anything they don’t want told and she said so in that dialogue with the Adam fan that I posted a few days ago. Do I think he is going to start his own label? Not at all, but I could see him producing his own record and getting distribution handled through another record company like Universal or Sony. Or he could be signed and this is nothing.

    I need a job. I am bored and when I am bored I start to speculate. I can only watch so much daytime TV. 2 weeks until Europe then things can go back to normal…HA!

    On the Glee Wiki site, it stated that Adam was the only contestant that ever got a standing ovation from Simon Cowell. Never really thought of this before. Next time someone says something about Idol giving him special treatment (1st former contestant mentor, several post-Idol performances during the show), I’ll say because he deserves it and even Simon agrees with this (by virtue of his only SO). The other thing I noticed was the pic dated July 12 – wow does he look good – where was this?

    Of course I always listen to a song first before I record myself, but today for some reason, I didn’t do that. I just clicked on “Play” with this one and recorded it. I start out tentatively because I wasn’t sure that I was going to do the whole thing or even know what the arrangement was.

    I was just “winging” it. So many times that can be the best way instead of something that’s been practiced and maybe over rehearsed.

    But as I progressed with this I realized, in the moment, how much the lyrics resonated with me. I think A.L.L. 29er’s here can identify. Wink

    This is the raw deal. No “reverb” or “echo” or “delay” added to sweeten things. Just me and a microphone, up close and personal, trying to come together.

    Love that parody, angelowal! For some reason, didn’t watch it when it was posted before. Clicked on the ustream and was instantly mesmerized by the video that started playing – it was the concert at the 9:30 Club and I knew it immediately. Too tired to watch the whole thing. A copy should be placed in the proper thread at some point for prosperity. Night, ALL – fading fast. SAD (Sweet Adam Dreams) Now, even when I’m SAD I’m happy!

    ron, I think that there has been some misunderstanding here. The person who read our blog and was so moved by my comment was Steven Salvatore, the writer of the blog #HowAdamLambertSavedMyLife. From your post it looks like you thought that it was Adam himself who had responded. Still, it all comes back to Adam in the end, or beginning, doesn’t it?

    There has been so much talk during the past few years of the devastating effects of negativity thrown out over the internet, it just made me feel so good that a basically anonymous comment that I made on a blog could have had such a positive effect on another person. (And on a more personal note for me, it has been over four years since I was sent out to early retirement when they closed the institute where I worked for 30 years, and I haven’t worked in my “helping profession” since. Even if I didn’t do it on purpose, it sure felt good to see my words help someone like that again.)
