As July ends the “Trespassing” touring era now seems to be over with the last show at Paso Robles. But work continues as Adam is to be part of the Glee cast and also is guesting on Avicii’s new single “Lay Me Down”. It may be quiet on the touring front but there are always surprises.     Is it Sept yet???? There is no one like Adam to make me wish away entire weeks/months of my life. New music, Glee, IHeart, cannot come soon enough for me. I can only hope that Adam doesn’t feel pressured by ‘our’ collective desire for his entertainment. The more time that goes by the more I realize how prescient his first single really was.

    jlurksacto , I managed to watch Husbands on the server that I have set to use when I want to see American vids that are blocked in other countries. (With thanks to ron who showed me how to set it up). Loved it, but, as usual, it was too short!

    I know I am late but this is the only thing “poly” related/record label thing I could find. Part of UMG. GaGa is part of the label in the UK and they have a new “pop” label that has just started up. I hope he has something lined up!

    Sad about Gale Chester Whittington’s passing. I was always amazed at how tirelessly devoted he was to supporting Adam and his fans. He was always on top of all of the news, tweeting and facebooking and soundclouding constantly to spread news and music and positivity to the fandom. Really gave of himself very generously to the community, and he will be missed a lot by many. RIP Gale.

    I am sitting here right now with tears in my eyes and I can hardly contain myself.     I can’t express what this comment meant to me, because words aren’t enough. It solidified the fact that I am on the right path. It has erased all the painful memories from that one agent who said that my book felt like “Coming Out 101″ or that other agent who said I needed a gimmick to stand up against YA books. It touched me because I reached someone and someone — not just anyone, but a reader out there floating in the interwebs — sees my potential.

    This will stick with me for a long time, and help me through the querying process.

    Sometimes, all I need is a little confidence boost, positive reassurance, and the knowledge that, as a writer, I am reaching people on a human level; this week on Beautiful Chaos has done just that.

    I have another family wedding in Long Island on the 18th of August. If I had decided to go I could have gone to Nile’s show in the Hamptons and seen Adam on the 19th…..

    rs– Tears in my eyes too. How special to have affected him so much. But what he says is so true – sometimes all anyone needs is a little confidence boost, a little positive reassurance. This is so personal for me right now because my daughter was the one that needed that from a coach and because she didn’t get it, convinced herself that she wasn’t very good and quit the sport that she absolutely loved.

    So sad to hear about Gale. Of course all of us “knew” him as a true fan, as someone who always had up to dater info and videos, articles, just everything Adam.

    And now to find out that was also an important figure in gay rights just leaves me floored.

    It’s so odd to be mourning someone we’ve never met, but, truly, his influence goes beyond our fandom. RIP.

    I don’t go anyplace but here for my Adam news (I don’t even check his tweets on my own), so I didn’t know anything about Gale Chester. I hope that he had some interaction with Adam while he was still alive, and not just a comment upon his passing. It sounds like he was a great guy.

    Kradamour, I love that avi too but I still wonder why he doesn’t use one with the scruff since that’s his look now. The stache just must be something he has to keep because of Glee. I think he likes the clean shaven too but can’t do anything about it right now. Yeah I know they can always glue a fake one on him but ….. as others say ….that’s my story and I’m sticking to it!

    From what I could tell from following Gale it seems that he did have interaction with Adam and the whole band. They all tweeted their sympathies like they really knew him.

    eta: He founded and ran ALFC…Adam Lambert Fan Club. Read that it will be continued by someone else
