As July ends the “Trespassing” touring era now seems to be over with the last show at Paso Robles. But work continues as Adam is to be part of the Glee cast and also is guesting on Avicii’s new single “Lay Me Down”. It may be quiet on the touring front but there are always surprises.     Welcome angelowal, We met at the party that TLKC had for me in July, didn’t we? Unfortunately, that site that I always use to watch TV has been wonky the past week, so I am looking for a new one, if anyone has any ideas.

    Oh darn, I just checked that site again, and the cheap bums are charging $2.99 for each Glee episode Frown Or perhaps I’m the cheap bum who doesn’t want to pay to view Question I shall now search youtube……..

    Sorry to natter on about that concert, but it was by far my favorite of any, and I have been fortunate enough to have been at some epic concerts, including RayGay in Atlanta (hi, froggie!), Paris (Meet and Greet, tiny venue and first Purple Haze), and Wilkes Barre for the kickoff of Trespassing.
    But Ste Agathe was like a family reunion with our big brother/cousin/nephew/uncle/oldestson Adam back from his travels. Yes, like that.

    Question

    Re Glee and school:
    No, it is not that I think it is too bizarre, etc.
    Actually, it is because it is so very similar to a real high school in so many ways. The characters are caricatures, of course, painted with a very broad brush, but in fundamental ways not so very far from the reality I know. That is what makes it hard to watch. I know a real-life Kurt, but he is African-American, the son of a preacher – he is finally achieving some success as a fashion designer. I know Lea – but she is not a singer, she does beauty pageants, but she is just as intense and suffers just as much from her ambition and is viewed in a very similar way by her peers. Quinn was in my class a few years back.
    I have also known Sue Sylvester, but she was more subtle and covert – the damage she did is the same.
    I have had a principal like this one – ineffective and weak except when he suddenly took a notion for something.
    And I have been Mr. Schu when I was at my worst and when I was at my best. I am not proud of all that I have done as a teacher, and it is hard to watch him make my mistakes.
    No, the reason I find Glee hard to watch is not that it is so fantastical, but because it is – at its core – so real.

    angelowal,Until last week I saw everything there for free! Try this link. Click on TV and then type Glee in the search box. I just did and saw that there are links to all the episodes for all the seasons. There are usually many choices for each episode and you might have to tr out a few until you find the ones that work best for you.

    My problem now is with the newer shows that I like, although I was able to see True Blood this morning(but not masterchef, chopped, and some others)

    aely , thanks so much for posting that blog about #AdamLambertSavedMyLife. He expresses himself so well, and if he is writing a coming of age YA fiction novel with a strong gay male protagonist, his character could be a role model for many more boys, expanding the “Adam Lambert effect” ever wider. So important!

    Yeah, ulti I have seen that in at quite a few other articles from Europe…mostly Germany…Damn it..Still going to cross my fingers. It could be an assumption because it is the second track on the CD but not holding my breath. I think LMD will be released as a single but maybe not now. Again, damn it…

    “Wake Me Up” is #6 on iTunes, #9 at Amazon, but doesn’t seem to have much radio play yet, so how is a second single practical in the US right now?
    And, “You Make Me” even for int’l doesn’t sound like a very good choice to me, but what do I know?

    On another note, CAN SOMEONE PROTECT ME FROM THE GAGA TSUNAMI ON TWITTER PLEASE????!!!!!
    I follow a couple of her promo people because they also promote Adam, but OMG – their non-stop tweets and retweets are KILLING me. And it is all so tacky, self-serving and blatantly obnoxious, plus the attacks on Katy Perry, grrrrrr!
    I know Katy can’t sing (her performance on Idol when she wore the Adam cape was just bad) but she loves Adam, is ALWAYS sweet to him when they meet at events, chatting and taking pics, and probably got DMG to manage him.
    And for Gaga to think she is the soul of Pop???? Oh, please.

    I agree about YMM, I think Addicted to You is a better song. I don’t really care if it is released in the US right now, he just needs to keep his name out there and having an international release from the guy who has a number 1 song in 50 countries can only up his profile. LMD will eventually get here if it is only release internationally. Plus, WMU has been in the top 5 of overall songs on iTunes for a few weeks, not to shabby, I think Adam needs this.

    Yes, the twitter stuff is so annoying and obnoxious. Playing both GaGa and Katy’s songs every hour and GaGa sending a tweet “shocked” that she is already on the radio….jeezz…please. I do tend to be on team Katy also. She just seems more real. Until this “war” I never knew I had a team…hee

    Got a new laptop but it won’t stay connected to the internet. Dazed IDK
    I think I got what I needed off my old one Fingers Crossed and can successfully load to the new one, but not until I get the connection issue worked out.
    This is so time consuming!!
    Thankfully I have more than one device to work with.

    BTW…I love the studio version of LWOG. The end makes me melt! In Love
    Now if it will only go into my itunes instead of this stupid windows music player. Another challenge!

    Will need to listen to that new high quality ready for radio and clubs edit but never was heard at all except by Glamberts and attendees at the LifeBall.

    I really liked what I saw from Eli Lieb. The rare smile, the articulate-ness, the reserve while at the same time putting himself into a vlog. I would like to have a conversation with him, I think. I never felt that way about Sauli; he was fun and positive, but not really that interesting to me. Was happy that Adam was happy, end of story.
    (I am thinking that this Eli Lieb is he about whom speculation ran rampant? Adam could do a whole lot worse, IMHO)

    That Eli Lieb video made me like him, where as before I was getting some negative vibes. Should have learned not to judge too quickly.

    As for Sauli, I believe that he was what Adam needed at the time, a positive influence to help Adam feel good about himself. A bit of sunshine!
