Yes, it was only a few months ago. Not referring to him as a performer but his look on stage. He’s so natural and organic now. But I know I’m in the minority…love the makeup and fringe.
luval, I think he’ll continue to mix it up – sometimes natural and organic, sometimes made-up and fringy. It’s in his nature. He’ll never be satisfied staying in one style or box for long.
luval, I think it all depends on the music; we can always count on him to match it to his look. So that’s another reason to want to know what he is working on!

cwm– thanks for posting that soundcheck. I had almost equal amounts of pleasure when Adam was talking about making corrections to the sound and when he was singing – he is truly amazing and one-of-a-kind!!!
On Demand had Season 4, Episodes 1-6 of Glee so I watched all 6 of them in a row. I had seen 2 or 3 of these episodes but not all six and I found the show as a whole better than I remembered it. Hoping they release the next 6 next week or I’ll have to hunt them down! The scenes that have Cory (Finn) in them seem especially poignant and relevant now. And Lea (Rachel) gives me goosebumps almost every time I hear her sing. Can’t wait for an Adam-Lea duet – it will blow everyone away!!!

I have been watching Glee on Amazon, I am just in the middle of season one.
It is engaging, Lea sounds much better on the show than when I have heard her live a couple of times. Seeing Cory now makes me sad, such a waste.
One comment I am surprised at Cory getting the lead to begin with just because I see nothing special about his voice, I would have thought the voice would have been a powerhouse. Feeling guilty dissing his voice since he is gone but was wondering what others felt, especially since he is(was) the main lead singer.
mils – thanks for the list. Definitely brought a smile to my face and I needed it. Have had a rough couple of weeks – difficulties with my youngest. Kids – they love to drive you crazy!
glambot– don’t feel bad. Most folks felt like you (myself included) and were surprised he was chosen for the part. If you jump ahead to Season 4, you can hear the dramatic improvement in his voice.
Yes, his voice was roundly criticized in the early seasons. He apparently got a lot of coaching and his voice did improve. There was a lot of speculation that it may have been dubbed as well. He’s gone now, but I did enjoy him very much. He had such a warmth about him. You always saw characters hugging him, with arms around him, like a big bear.
Sparkle, yes, kids do drive you crazy! But, on days like today, I’d love to have him back here to do whatever he wanted!! But, they do grow up and start to leave the nest. It’s just so very hard.
mils – thanks for putting my troubles in perspective. I can’t even imagine how I’ll handle it if any of my kids go overseas for a year! My H,T&P’s (Hugs, Thoughts and Prayers) go out to you. And, of course, you have Adam and all of us at ALL to help you through!

Glee sure has it’s ups and downs, it has wonderful plots, and some bombs. However, when the music is as good as the stuff I just posted, all is well with Glee.
I’m hoping for some moments like these with Adam.
I agree, glambot. I have been watching Glee on Amazon (oh, the things we do for Adam…) and just finished season one. There is a little-bit-lost sweetness to Finn’s character, and perhaps Corey was able to bring that because it was also who he was. A very appealing character.
Liked the first episodes much better than the latter ones, but maybe season 2 will pick it up again. The season one finale was just a hot mess, imho.
As a high school teacher, I am just so offended by so much of it, but trying to get past that.

Cory’s interview with Jian Ghomeshi in November 2009 – can understand from this why he was loved on the set. Boy was extremely intelligent – funny – charming – enjoyed the entire conversation immensely.
Not a Lea fan (from what I’ve seen – and that’s only about seven or eight songs) – but she appears to love Adam, and that’s all that matters to me.

ADAM LAMBERT was NOT featured on Oprah’s American Idols, Where are They Now Episode tonight; they focused on other Idols. Our guess is Adam wasn’t a good fit for the show because everyone already knows where he is and what he’s doing now!

I can’t get Netflix or Amazon membership,etc here and most shows, including Glee and American Idol aren’t on Israeli cable. Once you get into the site search for the show you want, click on episodes and then you will have a choice of different possibilities. They don’t all work, but after a bit you will find the links that work best for you. It is free and I just watch when I want to. I don’t download or save anything. If you have problems,email me and I will walk you through it. I just checked and they have all the seasons of Glee. That is the way I saw it.
ETA. BTW, I can see current shows a day or two after they are broadcast in the States.
krads, try not to be offended about the antics in high school on Glee. It’s like an alternate universe where the absurd and “no way that would be tolerated in my school” things happen.
It’s often referred to as “Glee Reality.”

Mils, loved your list of Adam’s abilities – one can just imagine instances of every one easily.
Maybe I’m terribly spoiled, but I just find the Glee voices nice. Adam’s voice has so much more depth and that unique tone.
But I do think he and it will blend well and make for an enjoyable show.

Cory’s voice was the weakest in season 1, but it does get stronger as the seasons go on. He was the worst dancer too!!! Seemed to fit the character though.
I’m not a fan of Leas voice (or character particularly), I can hear she is a great, strong singer but there is just something about her voice that I don’t find all that pleasant….much prefer listening to the new girl Marley, much nicer tone.
That picture that soccermom posted, and the ones Aely posted are just beautiful. As much as I dislike facial hair, I loved that look on him Lighter, more natural with the hair down, made him look young and gorgeous.
