After a very busy month of July which featured 11 concerts (5 with Queen and 6 solo – including the epic Fantasy Springs event pictured above), August begins with a short period of rest for Adam. However, as he tweeted a couple of days ago, we can expect the third single from Trespassing to be announced sometime early this month. Later in the month, Adam will head to Japan and Australia for album promo and a few concerts as well. We are also anxiously waiting to learn if Adam will be a judge or have some other regular role in the upcoming season of American Idol. In the meantime, enjoy the chat!

    The band went to Cabo San Lucas, I think that is a more likely spot for a weekend, Sauli did say he was going away for the weekend. Bora Bora is a long way away for just a weekend.

    Didn’t they go to Bali during that break after the Singapore shows before Japan?

    I don’t think they’ll go that far either. Maybe a weekend away somewhere closer to home. Wine country, Mexico, Tahoe…

    Cabo San Lucas was in Jan 2010 w/ TJ, Raja, Taylor, not sure who else
    Bali was end of Sept 2010 with the band

    So, I had some time finally to catch up on the red pants, erm, Winstar thread.

    Holy Moly. That thread needs cautionary warnings. Honestly, there I was going gaga and writing recaps of epic proportions over Des Moines, when , THAT happened the night before? While we were having our very nice dinner at Centro in Des Moines? I mean, goatie showed us some stuff while at the hotel later, but, geebus, how are any of you that were there alive? The red pants, the Dragon Attack pants, the necklace, the shirt down to there, the….erm, umm, UNF, UNF, sweating now, the
    {{{ moves }}} in the red pants.

    The band was tighter, the costume change was handled so much better than FS, the “choreography” was to die for.

    Oh Adam. Please tour. Please.

    Soooo glad to hear there will be a Trespassing Tour for certain!! Will save $$ for Queenbert AND TT! Gotta go…have 7 glamchildren here thru Saturday…only have time to peek in here for a minute. School starts Tuesday…will have more time then! Still loving all the vids, so thanks to everyone who has posted.

    Poor Texas‘ arm that I grabbed over and over, I’m surprised it wasn’t black and blue!

    Those red pants are special and the Dragon Attack pants are the best fitting pants I have ever seen on him. Perfection!

    nkd, honest to G*d, if I had been there to see all that , I just don’t know how I could have stood up and not gone weak in the knees. I only know that when I see him, I am in a state of joy that is unparallelled to anything besides pure joy with my kids at times.

    Well, maybe they went to my beautiful Door County. Truly gorgeous, the Cape Cod of the Midwest. More beach miles than any other county in the USA. Yup. That’s where they are.

    Yep, Bali is the place they went to during GNT, well Tommy didn’t, thats when he lost his passport. I’ve been there 3 times, gorgeous place. Its way too far for a weekend though. Unless they have a long holiday and go straight from there to Japan…..but that would put and end to the Olympic rumours.

    I haven’t watched all the videos yet so that will give me something to do for the next couple of weeks.

    And re vevo views, sometimes when I’m on the computer I open another window for Adams vevo page and just let the videos play, to add to the viewing count.

    I think the original picture was from an an ad/photo shoot for fashion sunglasses. And, somebody, shoot me please for knowing this, but, his hair was high up and still high up from this when he showed up to either shoot that set of photos for People with the cock ( bird ) on his shoulder or a runway for some event. Either way, it’s an old picture. Or, it’s a Lee Cherry from the shoot with Adam and the puffy black leather background around IIHY time. And then somebody played with it’s graphics.

    If I was Adam, I wouldn’t want to travel far after all that traveling… But I guess he has more energy than me. I am totally exhausted of all my holiday traveling (still one wedding to catch on weekend). I think those guys know how to keep fans alert Grin Now we are dying to know where they will go. Or maybe it’s just Sauli? I don’t think so but who knows.

    Ron, if I remember right, Asif told she’ll (or he??) be back at the end of the summer or fall. I don’t know if it meant these pages too?

    I still have many US concerts to catch. After satisfying my worst hunger, I think I’ll take them piece by piece. Haven’t read Winstar or Des Moines threads yet – waiting for reading all the recaps Big Smile

    Tell me, how did you all survived that loooong time Adam was making new album and only a few concerts during one year? What did you talk about and do Grin? I find this whole fandom thing such an interesting phenomena, that someone should do a doctoral theses about it!

    Lady North. I have been trying to think of what we were doing during that down time before the album came out. Seems as though there was something every couple of days whether it was red carpets or Adam shopping (lol) or catching a flight to somewhere to collaborate with someone. There was Fin-gate during that time, he had the long hair (extensions), and I think some other “gate” too.

    You can go back and read the threads, LadyNorth! Honestly, this group doesn’t need anything concrete to post about…we are the MASTERS of speculation! (Oh, and angst…)
    We recycled old videos, compiled a list of the best ones from GN, made up little trivia contests, shared memories of GN concerts, speculated when the album might drop (that alone is probably a thousand posts…), analyzed/critiqued Adam’s past and present hair, clothes, tweets…enjoyed a couple of twitter parties…squeed over the occasional interview…voted in the many online polls…there were opportunities for charitable giving and jewelry purchasing…of course there is a certain number of general happiness posts when a gorgeous new pic surfaced, or a new gif, or a newly enhanced video from a former concert, or a new fanvid…Adam is truly the gift that keeps on giving and a nonstop source of flailworthy-ness!

In spring I read some old threads from 24/7, and noticed there were some “gates” and “wars” during that year… I remember some Adam’s tweets about realness and boundaries Shock

    Damn I live on the other side of this earth to catch any concerts except Europe… I miss all that concert-fun going on there. But thank god for the vids and internet! I haven’t found any sandbox in Europe… Where are international Glamberts communicating, I don’t know? Just curious.

    Kradamour, there’s no easy way to do that Grin It’s a difficult language to learn. I am happy I don’t have to learn it, I was born to it… So I can be your spy and give briefs if you need to understand something. Not complete translations though, that’s a full time job… I have to give something back, I learn a lot from you. Guess what was first new English word I learned in Adam fandom?     I am not 100% sure of Asifs schedule, but I remember asking where she/he was posting because it was about the same time I was awake. It was Saudi-Arabia but what happens before moving to US I don’t know. Just wanted to tell you not to worry.
