Well guys it’s time for our August Chat thread. Here is one of my favorite pictures from St. Agathe. Another month with a major event. VH-1 is kickstarting the revamp of their fantastic series Behind The Music featuring Adam. Will everybody be watching on Sunday night???

    That “YeahRight” is on Adam’s thread at MJ again. I swear, one day I’ll go against all MJ rules and just tell that bitter Cooktard what I think.

    I so totally adore Adam and how he embraces all about himself. I am constantly telling people…”have a fault? embrace it!!”. “Someone says something not nice about you?..laugh and embrace it”. My constant mottos …So what?, Who Cares?, life is short. yes, I embrace that!

    I could fall asleep knowing that in the morning I’ll have a treat prepared by YOU!
    What a wonderful day! It’s raining cats and dogs in NYC, I don’t have to go anywhere and I can spend all day watching vids from yesterday and in 3h and 20 min we gonna have red carpet livestream from VH1.
    Adam, you WFF, show us what you working with again.Strut!

    @Oksana2000…Yes go for it. Really what is wrong with “Yeah Right”. Any post about Adam, and she or he is right there to post something ignorant. I just don’t understand people like that. You think Yeah Right is a Cooktard. I read a post by someone over at MJs that said most of the ignorant posts made about Adam are from Cook’s fans. I don’t why they do. I like David, I don’t follow him and certainly would not post anything ignorant about him.

    loveroftalent, I heard from someone who knows everybody on MJ’s that Yeah Right is a Cooktard.
    The worst kind. Cookie is failing big time and all the previous comparison of Cooks career to Adam’s “15 minutes” is totally invalid now. Did you notice that nobody is comparing Adam and Kris anymore?
    Maybe Yeah Right is the one that is blaming RCA for channeling all promo monies to Adam #2 so Cookie is not being promoted anymore?? You should read other boards, it’s absolutely unbelivable what peeps are saying.

    And re the suit – it has been on the home page of the fan site for a very long time. Didn’t like it in that photo but love what he did with it for the ceremony.
    And I would be astounded if Adam gave a thought to the suit’s designer and anti-semitism. I can almost hear him saying “It’s just a suit! It ain’t that deep!”.

    Isn’t that the same suit that he’s wearing for the Sept. pix on our “free” calendars?

    What a great morning with lots of Adam news and pics. Suz really saved the day as her videos are far superior to others I’ve seen. I’m also smiling at the Adam fans wanting to tell a certain poster at MJ’s off. I’ve learned over the years that you just need to let that stuff go. I know it’s hard but it’s happened to every popular Idol and maybe a little different Idol. James right now has one also. I’m not sure of his name but it has It and tunes in his name. He’ on every James thread offering negative comments. I’ve been on MJ’s since season 5 and it’s an ongoing saga. That’s why she runs such a tight ship and trust me it’s for the best. I thought Sauli looked so adorable last night. His silver hair, silver tie and I noticed his jacket seemed to have silver lining. Love seeing Adam so happy, in love and receiving the respect from his peers that he deserves.

    I thought Sauli looked so adorable last night. His silver hair, silver tie and I noticed his jacket seemed to have silver lining.

    I love how creative both boys are with their looks. I remember Sauli saying that he wanted to go into fashion bizznes (among other things).

    Ooooh, balloon festival! That is the concert that got me to thinking about a concert in Quebec this summer… Smile

    I have been looking at the brooch on Adam’s jacket…I zoomed one of the Just Jared photos and I think it is a coiled snake. Nice.

    Did anyone bring this up? (shallow…about the clothes). I just re-watched suz’s video of Adam accepting the award and as he was walking off stage I saw a long feather hanging out of the left side of his pants. Not as bold as the foxtail but still kinda funny.

    Do you have problems getting on MJ’s? Seem like the site is down. MJ posted link to DoSomething Red Carpet starting at 4PM. I can’t find it anywhere.

    I have been amused by the variety of things dangling from Adam’s pockets over the past couple of years. The foxtail is probably my favorite so far, especially with the shorts and flipflops in the soundcheck vids! Rolls Eyes

    I also could not get on MJ’s.

    Brown last night, I bet tonight he will be a vision in black. Can’t wait so much Adam goodness lately.

    Can’t believe the vids SUZ has come up with – the woman is like Zelig – always at the right place at the right time. Bow before her dedication and expertise.

    MJ’s is just a big, white page. Maybe someone went postal (sorry, know it’s not PC) and took out YeahRight.

    Can we please refrain from constantly talking about MJs on this site? People who post there have a right to be snarky, a pain in the ass and/or to try to stir up trouble and every one of you knows it and immediately gets riled up 2+ years after. Way past time to let it go…

    Adamland is correct, a lot of folks come to this site specifically so they don’t have to read about endless drama or fan wars or whatever that occurs on other sites. There is no need to repeat the play by play of such things here. Links to or mentions of items of interest from other sites are fine, continual discussion of who said what somewhere else are not. Thanks guys.

    Back listening to “Quiet Desperation.” Find this performance hypnotic. Adam’s not only a superlative singer, but an emotional powerhouse in this recording. His ability to affect your emotions through his voice is incredible – and the haunting sadness of the final words linger in the mind.
