In March, Adam wrapped up his Oceania tour with Queen and then enjoyed some downtime at home with Pharaoh and friends. There are rumors about a Las Vegas residency and possible US fall tour as well as Adam being involved with “Playmobil-The Movie”. Let’s hope that there is some truth there as we wait for new music – which “will be released later this year…” according to his bio on Edge Publicity and now, thanks to some persistent Glamberts, on PhilyMack, his new management.

    I am catching up on the idol shows that I missed in the past few weeks. I was really liking the judges but now they are just complimenting everybody now, without any constructive criticism. And I really want to love Ada, but when she starts to belt the songs, it is grating. Not at all like our Adam. I heard that America didn’t vote for Ada or Journee and they needed the judges to put them through. Doesn’t bode well for them when middle America has a say.

    Still haven’t heard back from eywflyer.He’s probably busy with real life. So I emailed him again, and did some research. It doesn’t look too complicated to do the transfer, but if all else fails I think we could start from scratch (a lot of work, and don’t hold me to this) but it just would be heartbreaking to lose the vast history so nicely organized here. Cry So, will keep trying. Yes

    I actually like some of the pictures though they wouldn’t make any top ten. I dunno, even that “mug shot” is pretty good, wonder if that’s what they were going for, just for something different. Big Smile

    I want to add whatever encouragement possible to our wonderful posters and the lovely riskylady for her willingness to take on the management. I, too, am willing to help if I can. Not too many skillz, but I could probably learn…I’ll go on the QAL concert-planning thread and make sure my email is listed.

    I haven’t watched much of AI. DVR the series and watch them later. Only watched live once.
    Love Jurnee but I don’t know how to vote so gave up on that then later found out the judges saved her. I’m bias of course. I don’t think she will win. Others are better than her. But glad that she got to stay longer.

    Glad that Ada Vox got saved too.

    Are they going to have the AI Tour this year?
    The top 10 are a good mix.

    “I have been gay and out of the closet – very loudly so – since I was 18 and I wasn’t in the closet on the show [American Idol] or around anyone.” Adam tells me. “It wasn’t until the show was wrapping up that I realised everyone wanted me to come out, but I was already out! I’ve always been out. It was just never talked about because it had no baring of what I was doing on stage. It’s not like it was a big surprise with my outfits or my looks or my song choices, you know?” He laughs. “I always think to myself that if I had been in a serious relationship at the time and my partner had been in the audience then it probably would have come up. Or if Ryan Seacrest had asked me about my dream man I probably would have answered his question but it just never came up! By the time the show ended, I had all these interviews lined up and I was an open book, but it was interesting because people said ‘oh, but you didn’t come out’ and I was like ‘but I was out I was just learning the responsibility of celebrity at that point and hadn’t quite wrapped my head around the idea that if not publicly declared, it couldn’t help others!’”

    Hi asif! Thanks for asking about my trip. It was just six days in the Lisbon area of Portugal. No Spain. I took too many photos and it will take time to work on them. Since Picassa was closed down I really don’t have a way of sharing my photos on line. Frown

    The AI tour will be very good for the contestants to get experiences and exposure. That makes AI better and be apart from the Voice. We don’t hear much from the Voice winners. Look at Alisan.

    Wonderland shoot does not do his beauty justice!
    The only pic I think is OK is the one where he is laying back a little. The one with the veil is interesting…
    The ones in the coat, windbreaker and tennis shoes seem to just make him ordinary rather than extraordinary, which he is!
