After crisscrossing the US for his The Original High tour, Adam wraps it up in LA before taking some time off to shoot his scenes for The Rocky Horror Picture Show TV movie. And then it’s off to Europe to continue his world tour. I’m tired just thinking about all the travel!

    So many links about Idol but I love reading them. It’s the end (for now lol) and without Idol we never would have heard of Adam I don’t think. Just love when he mentioned his “hard core fans”. He knows how important they are.

    Of course we would like him on there ( if for nothing else, just to do the Bowie tribute himself and not subject us to the winning boys doing it). But it is so amazing that he is too busy to be there!! Yay for him. In Love

    Adam was such a featured star last night.
    I’m sure there will be complainers and whiners about their special snowflake not being given time, but no complaints here.

    I do wonder if they will have something else, remote from Toronto, or film of him in concert solo, or with Queen.

    If American Idol were to interview Brian May & Roger Taylor, about Adam being ‘a gift from God’, now that would be powerful to see on the show. To see Brian May gushing about him, with his special love for his talent & personality, would be great TV for Adam. The love they have for Adam, couldn’t hurt their upcoming Queen + Adam Lambert Tour either.

    Also, it might tweak any future possibility for Queen to play at the Super Bowl. Just dreaming BIG here. Clap

    Soon after, Adam Lambert was strong-armed into recording one of my pitch songs that I was quite excited about. Yes! Unfortunately, upon listening to the final mix, everyone on Team Adam agreed that his vocal performance was a dreadful fit for the song, and that dream died as well.

    Last night’s retrospective on American Idol was really well done. The real winners got the spotlight: Adam, Jennifer Hudson, Chris Daughtry, and of course, the two who actually took first place, Kelly and Carrie. Some of the other first place winners got shorter segments, but some were notably absent. Adam’s segments were interspersed throughout the show and he was wonderfully handsome and articulate in every one. It’s so good to see him getting all the love and respect he deserves from AI. I will be eternally grateful to AI for bringing Adam into our lives. The segment on the judges was also very entertaining. It was never the same after Simon left. They had some real misfires on the way to the current panel which is fairly good.

    I’ve been impressed with the talent in this season of AI. I’ve actually been sitting through all the commercials again to watch the show in real time. Last week’s show was particularly good. I like Dalton. He’s cute and has a great stage presence, but Trent and LaPorsha are much better vocalists. I hope that they’re the two finalists. I’m looking forward to watching the final two shows the next two nights. I’m also grateful that AI is ending this week. I leave for Adam’s show in London on Tuesday.
