The Duke and I are sorry to hear the news that you will be leaving the blog, eywflyer. Many thanks for all you have done over the past 6 years and for the opportunity to be part of this unique fandom here. While I don’t post much I am a part of this from the very beginning aand have made many friends and have had so much fun here and at shows where we’ve met up. As stated elsewhere it has become part of my life and I would surely miss it.
Do hope someone with tech saavy skills will be stepping up to the plate to take over.

A couple of Adam stories that happened this past week:
I recapped my Milwaukee show with the inclusion that nkd and I went for manicures the day of the show. Well, I went back for another, ‘cuz, well, I love ’em, and this time the cute young gal actually spoke English!!
Anywho, there was loud pop music playing on some playlist, and all of a sudden…the strains of whoo do do do do do do do do do do do …Ghost Town!!! Yess!! And the gals are smiling and singing along!!
So I did it, I whipped out my M&G pic and they screamed, and several patrons came over… and lots of fangirling ensued!! Even from the cute guy who does nails!! He had on the most awesome sweater, that for sure Adam would wear. It was white with black letters on it, only X and Y and Z. So cool.
Anyway I digress, and then they were ogling my concert pics. So much fun!!
Then, this past weekend I went to pick out new bifocal spectacles, thank you Michael Kors, pretty cool new ones, so:
The manager and I always have chatted Idol, since way back to season 8. I am in there several times a year, with 4 people in glasses, so we were talking Idol and Adam, and of course I shared many pics with her, and some of the other staff. Then, she asked me for more pics.
I obliged. Shared thread pics, posters, many new things, London, gah, she was absolutely drooling. As was a straight guy employee who plays in a local band and has admired Adam’s voice and talent for years.
Such nice encounters, so silly .
And, this blog is the only place where I could share these stories without fear of negative comments from the webs.
