After crisscrossing the US for his The Original High tour, Adam wraps it up in LA before taking some time off to shoot his scenes for The Rocky Horror Picture Show TV movie. And then it’s off to Europe to continue his world tour. I’m tired just thinking about all the travel!

    Brought back a cold from Amsterdam. Sore throat, cough, no voice — boy I am so glad that the next concert is 11 days away.

    And an annoying, persistent headache so I cant get myself to listen to live streams Frown

    Pretty sure that audition video is fake, I can remember Adam saying that first comment about taking a deep breath and it wasn’t to that contestant.

    Hi everyone! I’ve been trying to post ever since I got to London but it’s been so hectic. Incredibly fun but hectic. Fortunately, seven years of following Adam has conditioned all of us to get by without much sleep. I’m on the train to Paris now to meet up with my friend, CKE. The riskys & rs are still in London. We’ll all meet up again and adamized will join us later in the week.

    London has been so fun! I’ll put a short recap on the concert thread. The morning after the concert, the riskys, HKFan, rs, & I went on a five hour walking food tour of the East end of London. It was pouring rain but that just added to the authentic London experience. The food was so good! We ate so much. We kept thinking about cher and how much she would have loved the tour. That night HKFan, rs and I went to see Wicked. None of us had seen it and it is an important part of Adam’s history. I loved everything about it. I kept thinking about Adam, Terrance and Holly in those roles. I’ve watched the YouTube clips of Adam as Fiero countless times. Adam has said that musical theatre is highly scripted. It was interesting to watch the scenes that I had seen Adam do. Even the smallest gestures were identical in both productions. Of course, Adam’s voice was better and he is far more handsome than the London Fiero, but that goes without saying. Otherwise, we walked a lot, went to some museums and ate lots of good food. Oh, and we saw a concert too! More on that on the concert thread.

    Didn’t realize Steve Aoki’s father was the founder of the Benihana restaurant empire. Steve has a documentary in the Tribeca Film Festival going on now. Here’s an interview with him. (no Adam mention)

    Thanks for that interview, kiwi. I didn’t see it. Now if was true that Adam said he wanted to play one of Freddie’s lovers they would have mentioned it here? Looks like they are just involved with the music…nothing else.

    Is this interview the English version of that Italian vimeo? I don’t think I heard Brian speaking so maybe not?

    Finnished…hmmm never thought about that meaning, mils. Maybe you’re correct. Or you could take a word like Finnish, add the “ed” and imply you are now Finnish yourself. “I now have been Finnished”. I understand me but probably nobody else does. Smile
