After crisscrossing the US for his The Original High tour, Adam wraps it up in LA before taking some time off to shoot his scenes for The Rocky Horror Picture Show TV movie. And then it’s off to Europe to continue his world tour. I’m tired just thinking about all the travel!

    Our guy needs to take care of himself. He has 3 shows in 3 nights, then off to Toronto to film RHPS. Then off to Amsterdam.

    Also wonder if I HEART will pop into his LA show on Sunday.

    Got my official Queen Fan CLub quarterly mag today. Don’t have any way of posting what Brian says except just “posting what Brian says”. (no link)

    “What is Queen doing? Well, behind-the-scenes we have put a lot of work into planning our upcoming Summer tour of European festivals. We have an amazing new rig, an extension of the one we toured with last time, but with a few nice new dramatic production gimmicks! It’s also lighter and is able to be stored in half the number of trucks we used last time, which is a great victory for our carbon footprint! (yes we do care!)…..

    …..I suppose I never imagined that at the age of close to 70 I would still be spending a good part of my year touring the world and playing guitar, not to mention a bit of singing as well. This tour with Kerry has been amazing. It’s broken a lot of new ground for us, and I suppose for me personally, because it represents the development of a much more personal approach to performing, something much more organic and spontaneous than it’s possible to be in our massive Queen show. Of course, there are advantages to both, and I’m very much looking forward to our next adventure with the amazing Adam Lambert. Hopefully we’ll see you out there for the big blast!…….

    The M & G debate is ongoing. I don’t really have a problem with repeats, but I do feel Adam must get tired of the same people showing up.
    I don’t have a problem with repeat concert attendees, except that some of these people get very proprietary and pushy, like they are Adam’s friends and deserve to be there more than others.
    Oh well, if I had unlimited income I would definitely go to more concerts, but I really don’t think I would go to a M&G at every concert.
