The calm after the end of QAL in February didn’t last long – thank the universe – and the roll-out to TOH appears nicely underway. We had the Sunrise/AU interview on 3/18, followed by the MiniMTV one on 3/20, the Hunger Mag major Q&A (with spectacular pics by Rankin) on 3/24, Attitude Mag’s great article (sold-out, of course), ending up with the iHeart Red Carpet appearance. But the big news, of course, was the Ghost Town snippet and the interest it engendered. April looks to be even more interesting, with the single release on the 21st – good times ahead.

Adam Lambert will release his new single “Ghost Town”, which was co-produced by Max Martin, this Tuesday, April 21st at 12 midnight ET. [just after 11:59 PM Monday]

    Ok I made some configuration changes, and at least at this moment it seems that comments post much faster than they did before (for me anyway). Please let me know if you see any improvement (or not).

    Cher, at this point I’m happy with normal comment posting speed. The site has apparently been very slow at times to post comments recently. I really think there is a technical issue with my hosting company, but getting them to admit that has not been easy – still working on it.

    Wow. Like the song, the video also needs many times to watch until it “opens” all it’s details. I bit fast to watch, but I love the sexy and artistic and dark feeling! Impressive! Thank you for posting the slow motion version asif, great to see the details! Incredibly sensual without being too much or vulgar (wipes sweat because emoticons are missing…). I’m on team fishnet too!

    Close ups of Adam are gorgeous!

    I’ve been able to see it through links, but can’t find it on youtube Adam’s channel. Is this only me or Europe?

    Eta: After finally seeing it on full screen, wow wow wow! I am very impressed. Love it omg.

    Morning ALL. So I woke up numerous times during the night, but at 6:30 I finally gave in and came here on my iPad and watched the video a couple of times and read the comments. Amazingly, after about an hour I was able to go back to sleep and now I am at my desktop and just watched again. It is certainly better the bigger the screen. So what do I think? The video is absolutely brilliant!!!!! It fits the mood and the pace of the song just perfectly. I adore the raw close-up during the acoustic beginning of the song, and then as Adam’s face turns dark….just WOW! Like HK fan, the dancing images were fast for me, and I didn’t have time to really see who they were or what they were doing, but I think that was on purpose. It makes you want to go back and watch again and again to get more details each time. Also, Adam is always there and he is the one who’s image you can linger on, and isn’t that the way it should be? I love the changing outfits and earrings, but his face with those gorgeous piercing eyes is always there. And his dance moves…..so many of those screen caps could be a gorgeous artistic photographs in and of themselves, and not just for Adam fans. I need to go back and watch numerous times to get more impressions.

    BTW, I love that Adam talked about the participants in the video being his friends, and like in IIHY, it doesn’t matter what color, age, gender, etc. you are….But in the videos, they are always young, lithe, gorgeous people. I know that is how it has to be to make the right video for the song. One day, when it is appropriate for the song, Adam will use normal people of all sizes and ages.

    I could go on and on, but I have to get on with my day…..and I want to watch the video again before I get up from my computer. (I miss my emoticons!)

    I couldn’t post at all late last night.

    According to Shoshanna still a few more hours until the video is “unlocked”. Was exclusive to EOnline.

    Agree with the two complaints Ulti had last night. Too much of Madonna’s Ghosttown on ET tv and not enough Adam dancing in the video. I think they edited out all the “normal” people. He probably invited everyone to the shoot but they didn’t make the cut.

    All in all I like it but the strobe was overdone IMO. Guess that’s what they were looking for. Those fast cut edit videos were not my favorite. But I’ll be watching it many times! Hope it’s shown on VH1 but am really looking forward to Live on Ellen.

    Well I was tweeting my heart out last night and Glamberts were in fine form. The feed was so fast it was hard to read. I did wonder about the YouTube video showing up. ET mustn’t have been happy and I don’t blame them. We should have been tweeting their link for at least 30 minutes after the show but WB sent out the YouTube. Fair is fair and they gave Adam a very high profile yesterday.

    I love the video but I did find the strobe distracting in the middle when Adam was a dancing silhouette. He looked so wonderful I wanted to see more of it.

    The video made me wonder about the 6 lithographs that are in the TOH bundles. Will they include shots from the music video? If so, I might spring for the lowest-priced bundle just to get my hands on them.

    Still cant stop thinking about that amazing vid. It blew my mind. In the night I watched it on Laptop. This morning on big tv screen. Holy hell that was even more magical.

    Its so beautifully done, so in tune with sound and lyrics. I love it. I really do.

    So happy about it…Even if I pay the price for getting up in the night right now lol

    We need to wait on Shazamming until we hear from Shoshanna. My guess: the mass of early shazams will be seen as fan action. Shazam is probably read in terms of a gradual progression of Shazams by week, as the song gets more play. If a song doesn’t follow the trend, the analysts will not trust the information.

    Shoshanna probably wants us to do it when the song reaches a level of play that makes Shazams likely or expected.
