The calm after the end of QAL in February didn’t last long – thank the universe – and the roll-out to TOH appears nicely underway. We had the Sunrise/AU interview on 3/18, followed by the MiniMTV one on 3/20, the Hunger Mag major Q&A (with spectacular pics by Rankin) on 3/24, Attitude Mag’s great article (sold-out, of course), ending up with the iHeart Red Carpet appearance. But the big news, of course, was the Ghost Town snippet and the interest it engendered. April looks to be even more interesting, with the single release on the 21st – good times ahead.

Adam Lambert will release his new single “Ghost Town”, which was co-produced by Max Martin, this Tuesday, April 21st at 12 midnight ET. [just after 11:59 PM Monday]

    Did you guys heard about that new stream sevice (for pay) called Tidal? Huge press conference about this yesterday. JZ, Rhianna, Madonna,Beyonce…many more…all the music A-listers.

    No way will I pay for a streaming service! Are they kidding? I have spent thousands of dollars over the years for artist’s music whether it’s live show, cd’s, whatever. IMO of course.

    Now if Adam were to be involved (which I doubt this would happen) I might think about it. Also, if youtube goes ahead with the possiblity of charging monthly for viewing I might do that. But anything else…NO

    Tidal’s higher fees are supposedly going into the artist’s pockets but the artists currently in that collective have already divvied up 48% of the proceeds so they can’t keep adding other artists. According to one article, it’s a good premise but it doesn’t add up.

    Speaking of the New York Times, they added a T Style issue to this Sunday’s paper and one of the articles indicates that, once again, Adam is ahead of the fashion curve. Fringe is in:

    On the March thread you did ask how come some of ALLers are still going strong despite lack of sleep…
    Maybe it is an age thing..
    Below 40 years, I needed 8 hours of sleep. After the big 4, it is only 6 hours… and now I can survive with 5 hours provided I can steal a 30 minutes midday or afternoon nap…

    Someone on twitter saying they saw a blind item that Miley was Patrick’s beard.

    I don’t know about beard…..but they have been dating supposedly for several months I think, have even read reports that she was/is pregnant by him, that they are engaged etc….but headlines last week were of pictures of him kissing another girl/cheating on her…

    eta…I didn’t think it looked like him either…..just thought he was somewhere else in the car that I couldn’t see..

    Just started watching last night’s AI. Slezak says it was a good show, and I am looking forward to seeing KC. But what is with the beard on Ryan? It is awful, but just proof that it is all the style rage. Maybe that is a reason for Adam to shave, lol, even though I like the scruff.

    I think that the new audience save was just a way to try again and get rid of the contestant who should have been gone weeks ago, but might have been voted through again.
