With the great news in March, April will be a time to settle in and prepare for the Queen + Adam Lambert tour ahead. We still have one more episode of Glee on April 1st and that will be it for Adam on Season 5. Now it’s back to making new music in Sweden and rehearsing classic Queen songs most likely in England. Lots of work to do before they hit the stage in Chicago on June 19th!

    I have never heard the studio version of One from AI. Like it much better than the live version. Here’s Adam post from facebook. Beautiful video too

    I was curious abut hiring Adam for a private gig, so I went surfing. I found this website, which appears to be the most reliable. http://www.celebritytalent.net/ So it looks like min. $100k…plus band and expenses???

    One thing I found really surprising was that the minimums for kd lang and lee dewyze are the same!!!

    I have a feeling they are much higher now. I noticed at the bottom of the home page it says 2002-2014 which I guess means they are still in business lol. I guess there are other companies that do the same thing too.

    Whenever I vote on that round 3 I always have to watch that AI video again. Love watching Brian watching Adam and Adam probably not aware they’ve been looking at him from day one AI audition…so Brian said.

    Me, too, luval, me too! If they appear on Idol at the end of the season, the pre-performance montage will probably include his audition and that finale moment. A great moment in Idol history.

    It’s a shame that Shady and Fever are missing from the “best of” cd. Given that this is for casual fans or people who might pick it up after seeing him on tour with Queen, they are a real loss to the equation.

    Are the AI songs from the studio recordings or the actual performances? If they are the studio recordings, I might have to buy it. Never did get those. Also CLYG, Maybe we can download them as singles?

    So this “best of” Cd. Is this his old label putting this out in an attempt to make more money off of him, with the Queenbert tour coming up. It doesn’t sound like Adam has endorsed this. I think Shosh was saying buy it if you want because she probably can’t say don’t buy it, without getting into some legal trouble since the label owns the songs.
    Smells like the Monty deal to me, and unless Adam says to buy it I can’t see supporting it.

    Two young granddaughters got in car a couple of days ago – very familiar with current music and like to play DJ with my iPod/radio. Every once in a while, they play Adam – always interested in the tracks they choose – this day Runnin’, TFM, Shady, PTL, and Gloria (really love Gloria – sometimes play it twice).

    Anyhow – happy Runnin’ is on new CD since it impressed so many people, and think Adam said he regretted not putting it on the non-deluxe CD (?).

    I also have the CD with two additional tracks – By the Rules and Map – can’t remember where I got that one. Anyone else buy that album?

    Ultimathule,by the Rules and Map are on the Japanese edition and they are both on the UK version too.

    Thanks, luval – I’ve bought so many editions of his songs forget where I got them. So I bought that CD from Japan? lol – More likely the UK, I guess.

    I hate my iPhone. I can’t edit! Only By the Rules was on the Japanese edition. (Not that this means much lol) I have these too and I think they are still in the vinyl wrappers. Haha

    Shopping in Holt Renfrew yesterday (Canadian upscale dept. store) and heard NCOE nice and clear! Must be from whatever satellite music service they use, glad to know that his music continues to circle the globe in so many forms.
