Tabs are back but a lot of the links under those tabs are currently missing. WordPress suddenly is hitting me with a limit on the number of menu items. Looks like something I’ll have to resolve with my hosting company. Don’t worry all of the old posts are still around I just can’t add them to the drop-down menu right now. Given that Adam just started following Anderson Cooper on Twitter today, many in my twitter feed are now shipping Adam with Anderson. Undeterred by the fact that Anderson is dating somebody already. LOL
LadyNorth – I’m sorry to hear that you’re seeing divisiveness among the Finnish fans. I guess that is to be expected, given the fact that Sauli is Bertlandia’s “son” and Adam your “son-in-law.” Feelings are bound to be strong, but hopefully it will blow over eventually. I saw a reference from illuxia on twitter that “one trashy rag =/= Finnish media,” so I guess at least one rag has gone negative. Sad.
Actually, it’s the Finnish fans and the teen fans that I suspect might take this the hardest. The Finnish fans for obvious reasons, and the teen fans because they don’t have the wisdom and experience that comes with age to put Adam’s and Sauli’s beautiful fairy-tale love story into a broader perspective about life’s journeys. I mean look at us, and we’re all 29! Just imagine the emotional impact on inexperienced teens who idealized Adam’s and Sauli’s romance.
I wonder if and at what point Adam and/or Sauli will say more, and whether that will help soothe some nerves.

So I ran a ton of errands today after posting, and for some reason I heard a lot of Queen on several stations, Pink, Fun., Stay, and Bruno. No P2, no rap, no hip-hop. Just “good” music. Very very nice. I was reminded of Adam with all of them.
Of course, my heart still wanted to hear Adam, but hoping for Phase 3 for that.

cwm, I don’t know if it’s Finnish fans or some others, not anyone on my feed but I can see things on other peeps’ tweets (when they make comments). There is one trash mag with nasty stuff (made up not true I think), based on it some peeps have tweeted something to A, and some others blame Finnish fans or Finland for hating Adam. Google translate doesn’t do good… I hate this kind of things and they are not what boys need now. Most of the Finns are shocked but love both of them dearly. Adam’s popularity is not based on Sauli, he sold gold already before. Peeps are upset for hate accusations.
But what you say about younger fans is probably true. Young mind is often black and white…

Ok the “Pre-Idol”, “AI”, “Chat Threads” and “Features” tabs have been fixed. The “Trespassing” and “Glam Nation” tabs do not contain any links at the moment, just the categories. There is a long-standing WordPress problem with complex menus where the number of items will sometimes be limited. Trying to find a workaround but it will take some time.
Check out the AI link, I changed this one to cut down on the number of menu items and make it easier to view.
As for my “stepping away”, please know that I will certainly continue to keep the site running and working behind the scenes (on things like today’s menu problem). I just feel that I need a break from Adam stuff in general for a period of time. Please also know that is NOT any kind of negative reflection on anyone at this site. I am very happy with the direction in which our site community has evolved.
In the meantime, I am very appreciative of AL who will be running the April 14th concert thread, and may be posting the May chat thread as well.

As for the “Bachelor”.
I remember a “Gay Bachelor” show some time ago where they actually had straight and gay guys participating without telling the contestant at first. 
I have a feeling that they won’t say anything more than they have already said, that it ran its course and that they are still friends. While Adam raved about being in love and we saw wonderful photos of the two of them, the details of their relationship itself was kept private, which is how it should be. They respect each other and what they had together too much to go spilling the beans about who wanted out first or who has a “roving eye”. It would do Adam’s career no good, and Sauli was tight-lipped from the beginning. That was one of the things that we loved about him.
Rather than verbal explanations, Adam shares his emotions with us through music, through what he tweets that he is listening to now, and through what he will write in the future. It will go directly from his heart to ours.

Now I religiously watch The Bachelor and The Bachelorette and after the last season of The Bachelor there was discussion on some news sites about “why hasn’t there been a person of color or why hasn’t there been a gay or lesbian?” It will never happen…I don’t think…at least the gay or lesbian show.

Work was kicking mah butt last week, as cwm would say, so I didn’t read about the Adam/Sauli breakup until this morning. I really was surprised because they seemed so happy together last month in Finland. They seemed so well suited for each other, but as many of you have stated, there were some real challenges to this relationship.
It’s always difficult when a relationship splits up. But if things aren’t going well, it can also be a relief to call it quits and move on. Each relationship that doesn’t work out teaches us something about who we are and what we should look for in the next relationship. So the lessons, although painful, help us grow and become better people and partners in the end.
Adam has a very strong support system. He’s out and about and looks very happy. I agree with mils, he’ll do just fine.

Hi, all. I haven’t posted for a long time due to a house fire that has relocated my family during reconstruction for the past 5 months and an ill mom (who, thankfully, is currently doing much better and finally seems to be on-the-mend). I’ve managed to lurk from time-to-time, though, and really am not that surprised by Adam’s break-up–but not because I saw it coming or anything specific like that. Rather, both he and Sauli are very dedicated to becoming celebrity figures, and it’s so, so rare for individuals with that kind of focus and craving for fame to domesticate, let alone when both parties of a couple are fueled by that drive. On paper, they have so much in common they should be perfect, right? In reality, they may be so parallel that they find that their paths rarely intersect. Such is the making of great friends, similar to Adam and Sam Sparrow (or any other of the highly motivated and artistic friends Adam collects), but for some couples, it’s necessary for one of the involved parties to have the relationship as their primary focus. We don’t know them and, therefore, don’t know the actual facts, but I’m just conjecturing on what little we have seen via pics, tweets, and various other media over the past couple years of their relationship. I have no doubt they love each other, but it just doesn’t shock me that they couldn’t make it stick when both of them want something else that is so all-consuming so very much.
Good to see you back Teri63. Sorry for all you have been through. I think you make a very good point. It is hard to find a balance. If two people are equally ambitious, they find no time for each other. If one steps back to support the other’s career, that party often loses the (self)respect and the financial independence. I’d be the first to admit that I struggled with this all my life.

For those like me who are interested in following Sauli’s career now, Idol Forums has a new thread named Sunny Sauli. It’s under the main Adam Lambert thread. They closed the S.S.Sauli thread with 999(strange amt) post and started a new thread that that will be all Sauli and not a shipping one with Adam. I like to visit there ocassionaly as they have several Finnish fans that post there and it’s interesting to get their views. There is also a new twitter acct. called Destination Sauli, so if your on twitter you might want to check it out. I was also glad to hear the Atop would continue posting his blog. I also am one like TLKC who still follows Adams ex loves and ex friends on twitter. You know, Brad and Monte. I also still have Drake too but he doesn’t tweet much these days and I never considered him a real love. Love Adam and hope the best for him but I also have a crush on Sauli and plan on staying connected.

I woke up this morning thinking that the best time in the relationship of these two self professed home-bodies was the year and a half that Adam was home making Trespassing. After that he was away too much promoting the album and performing while Sauli was left home alone too much, at the same time trying to get his own career on track. They just couldn’t jive both the needs of their careers and the needs of their relationship.
OK. Nuff said. No more analyses. They are big boys, smart, gorgeous, and can take care of themselves, with a little help from their friends. They will be fine. I love them both, (Of course , I love Adam more
)….and can’t wait to see what fabulous things the future holds for them both.

Teri63, I am glad to see you back, but sorry about your troubles. Hope all is better soon. I have good friends who had a house fire several years ago, and basically had to do a total re-build. But, they are “fine” now. We helped them as much as we could. Best wishes to you.
Haha, I love that song too! It has a bit of an 80’s sound (to me, which I love) and just a hint of the instrumentation that is so popular on radio right now. I would never want Adam to go all Mumford & Son on us, but just a hint might help him with radio next time around!
