Having wrapped up the overseas “We Are Glamily” tour, Adam and Glamily are back in LA for some well-deserved rest. Later this month, Adam will be in Miami Beach to headline their Gay Pride event. It seems to be the first of his “a-concert-a-month” series while he works on new music. Above we see Adam enjoying his downtime lunching with Sutan. Photo from Just Jared.

    Well, aely, I’ve spent the last 45 minutes or so reading that incredibly detailed blog – holy smokes – that’s dedication – and utterly fascinating – the stats. My eyes are falling out reading it – will go back in tomorrow after the sun comes up (I presume it will.)
    Anyhow – thanks a zillion for posting that – a real eye-opener.

    I also wanted to comment on how much I love MTV buzzworthy. Aside from all the great photos and info about Adam’s shows and “appearances” (such as lunch with friends), they really get him and make sure to show their readers how much more than just a fabulously gorgeous and talented entertainer he is. They always make sure to mention his charity work and I loved this quote from the last article that HK fan posted

    But we’re mostly loving that our Prince of Glam never misses a chance to remind the world to have fun, be yourself, and to not give an EFF what anyone thinks. While some people hit up the club acting like VIP big deals, Adam ain’t got time for that — PUH-LEASE. Adam’s all, “Haters can hate, but I’m ALWAYS gonna illuminate.”

    So I hope some of this in studio recording is for Adam’s album. When I read the exchanges between Nile and others it seems as though it’s for their projects…not Adam’s. of course I’d love to hear him with anyone but…..

    luval, maybe recording for others is a way to get people who aren’t aware of Adam interested in him. They wouldn’t normally look for Adam Lambert music, but if they happen to hear him singing on material put out by Nile Rogers or Avicci or Brian May, they will get interested and check him out. It is a way to spread the word about him and gain new fans. Radio play certainly isn’t doing it for him.

    ETA. I can’t wait for Adam’s own new music, either, but hopefully he is doing both. You know, I’ll sing on your album and you collaborate with me on mine. Fingers crossed.

    more ETA. And remember, Niles already worked on Adam’s album. Besides, they were probably just having sooooooo much fun. What I wouldn’t have given to be a fly on the wall last night. Nile videotapes a lot of his recording sessions. Maybe after the music comes out we will get a peek. Fingers still crossed

    Wow, I see Cindi Lauper’s Broadway play Kinky Boots has been nominated as best musical for the Tony awards!
    Eta: actually it’s at least 10 nominations for just about everything. I’d love to go to that. It’s at the Beacon theatre where
    TLKC, adamized and I saw Adam with Cindi.

    nekkid, that story is the sort of thing that has been going on for years, and was a part of the academic paper I presented in 1996. His story is all too common.
    Yes, a civil rights issue indeed.

    Love Adam in glasses! Remember right after Idol when he wore glasses and a suit and explained some sort of financial thing on a television show, it was a hoot! and he looked incredible.

    What I don’t get is the rankings. How would Sean Kingston, Julian Lennon and Ciara be the top 3?
