Having wrapped up the overseas “We Are Glamily” tour, Adam and Glamily are back in LA for some well-deserved rest. Later this month, Adam will be in Miami Beach to headline their Gay Pride event. It seems to be the first of his “a-concert-a-month” series while he works on new music. Above we see Adam enjoying his downtime lunching with Sutan. Photo from Just Jared.

    The person “buys and/or sells quite a bit” – wonder if this is an actual fan or something else.

    I should think that any resale of the tickets would be iffy, ulti. The person might not be admitted to the show, but it is also a real risk if the person is thinking he/she could get more than 6.1K for a resale.
    I think it is a fan who just happens to buy and/or sell on ebay.

    I’m the oldest poster here, and you’ve heard the old saying, with age comes wisdom (or at least common sense) and I am still for Adam in China with his award.A lot of guys out there showing skin (I know not Adam) but only one was in China receiving an award. High Five!

    On another note, how flattering that AT&T contacted AL/eywflyer. Hmmm. Methinks we have many more lurkers here than posters.

    Homeplanet is so fricking funny. I always feel like I’m not worthy to post there.

    Ron, you were, and are gorgeous. You should have been a successful model. And you may not like it, but, I do see the Bowie thing there. Except he has no lips, like Frank Burns. ( MASH reference ). But, apparently he is blessed in other areas, so it doesn’t matter!!

    Whoever posted that Texas/Westboro thing, kudos. Love it so very much. Lock them up and throw away the key.

    That private concert sounds like a fantasy come true. Heaven on earth.

    Buble??? I could take him or leave him. I do “like” him better than Groban though. Groban is hilarious on Kelly Ripa, he has such a naughty sense of humor. Heard Buble on Elvis Duran last Friday morning on my drive to work. He was pretty funny, slightly bawdy and naughty and flirty. The no respect thing seems just wrong. The industry just doesn’t value excellent singing.

    However, I’m hoping that Stay and Bruno’s new song are helping to turn the tide to emotional songs that are well sung. Maybe Adam has a chance. But. He better release a single and then an EP before his window closes.

    Sorry for the long and random post, but, you guys were so busy, I needed to catch up!

    One more thought, many of you have posted that you didn’t like the triangle shirt. I personally loved it and thought his look on that red carpet was stunning. That would also be my vote for the May thread picture.

    I wonder if he chose the triangles on a pink background to make a statement? Although, the World War II Nazi icon was a pink triangle for homosexuals. Still a white triangle pattern on a pink shirt sure comes close. I could so see Adam making a statement with that shirt.

    Purply pink. That’s how it photographed, but may have been pinker in real life. I read somewhere that it was pink.

    But nkd, you are the official arbitor of all wardrobe related details.

    I’m really loving Avicii and the Good Feeling mix. Good Feeling was one of Adam’s favorite songs when he dj’d that German radio show in 2011(?). One of mine too. Really gives you a good feeling!!! Grin

    Yes, Krad – fun stuff next time – no gloom and doom – still annoyed by Madonna song at end of Vh1 Divas – wanted something wild and dancey. Where he looked gorgeous and sexy – not in that cardboard cut-out thing with those yard-long sneakers.

    I’m so torn: My head says China Award – my gut says Chestbert.
    Can I just say how much I appreciate when people throw in a comment about another singer they like. I’ll be honest – never heard of Bret Hart. Did some youtube research and now I love Bret Hart, what an extraordinarily powerful singer.

    For Avicii, working with all of these different and talented artists allows him to complete his vision. “If you put me in a room with someone like Mike [Einzinger] or an amazing singer, I have the melodies in my head and I know exactly where to take everything, but I’m not able to do it myself, I’m not able to sing. So when I’m with someone who does sing and all these acoustic instruments, I know exactly what to do with it,” he said. …..”Classic” is a recurring word as Avicii discusses the new album. “Me and my manager have been through this so many times, we want eight to ten songs on the album, no more, and we want every single one of them to be a classic,” he said. “I’m not being cocky enough to say that’s what I’m going to accomplish, but that’s the goal.” To that end, although he estimates that he already has twenty tracks done, he is still looking for more – hence a four-day session this coming week in L.A. with Nile Rodgers.

    So if I am reading this right maybe Adam will be on Avicii’s next album?

    ETA I see the article is dated FEB but maybe they went for another session.

    Happy you love Hart, turquoisewaters – find her voice exceptional in its beauty and depth. So many of her songs I love – the haunting “I’ll Stay with You” and “My California” – beautiful lyrics – “I love you like the sun loves California.”
