Having wrapped up the overseas “We Are Glamily” tour, Adam and Glamily are back in LA for some well-deserved rest. Later this month, Adam will be in Miami Beach to headline their Gay Pride event. It seems to be the first of his “a-concert-a-month” series while he works on new music. Above we see Adam enjoying his downtime lunching with Sutan. Photo from Just Jared.

    Hi HK fan Waving , I guess that with Adam back home and in between gigs, getting ready to begin work on album 3, it is bound to be quieter here. Peeps must be taking advantage of the down time to get some things done in RL.

    Lyndsey Parker is at it again! lol. There isn’t a week in which she doesn’t mention her favorite Idol ever:

    But eventually the Judges’ Save expired, unused this season (an “Idol” first), leaving producers with a whole extra week to fill before the May 15-16 finale.

    So, what to do with that bonus week? Run a “Best of Adam Lambert” clip show?

    Nadine I just came here to post that AT&T message and you beat me to it!

    He is so gorgeous, and articulate, and so bright that he lights up the room! And his message is so important. He can help so many kids who are embarrassed and ashamed of who they are to feel good about themselves by being able to identify with Adam.

    OMG that AT&T Live Proud PSA is PERFECT! He looks absolutely gorgeous, his eyes and his face are bright and glowing, he’s so articulate, so expressive. And great message, perfectly delivered. Well, what rs said, basically Smile

    I could listen to his voice all day. And well, watch that face saying words.

    Also, fabulous outfit. Did you notice that he is completely color coordinated – jacket, shirt, pants (love those pants), boots, and HAIR all tie into to the same color scheme!

    Ok, now that I’ve gotten a chance to bert, squee, and flail over all of the pretty, I also just want to say that Adam is putting out a hugely important message to LGBTQ youth here about living open and living proud – with his words, with his demeanor, with his honesty and integrity, with his music, and with the way he lives his life in the spotlight, everyday.

    And with that, I say F* you, Norm Kent at SFGN, you idiot. Look at Adam go.

    Amazing, isn’t it how you can enjoy Adam’s announcement vid as much as a performance video? And he is just so perfectly color coordinated. Squee!!! And the message has such a true and sincere ring to it that,hopefully,it will be an inspiration to those at whom it’s aimed.

    I have this fantasy watching Adam once a week in a show similar to The Dean Martin Show. Dean was silly ,sang and did a silly skit with a guest, never knew who until they came thru the fake door. Adam is a natural for this.

    Love those Diva outtakes. That “I’m a Diva. Cool.” Just slays me. That’s peek at the real Adam that was such a treat.

    What does the death of AOL music really mean? What’s the impact? Does anybody have a feeling for this?

    The AT&T promo is just divine, and yes, the matchy matchy hair, shirt and shoes caught my eye. I mean, really, how much more gorgeous can a guy get?

    Has anybody else caught Emilie Sande on Elvis Duran or Kelly Ripa this week? She’s about to explode here in the states. I posted about her a couple of weeks ago, and I would love to see her work with Adam. She writes for many singers, including Rihanna, Katy and Adele, and others. Her voice is just ridiculous. The jacket she wore today on Kelly Ripa was very “Adam.” They would sound and look so great together…

    A couple more thoughts: Isn’t it always great to see how much Lyndsey Parker keeps Adam in her posts? She’s such a huge Glambert, and it is refreshing to see her Berting. But, she’s sooooo right. AI simply sucks. No real standouts since Adam.

    Although, I do like Angie, and have had several “water cooler” moments about her at work. She could be a break-out star and actually make it. IMHO. And, if I’m, not mistaken, she singled out Adam as her favorite Idol.

    firstimerob, I couldn’t agree more. Back in the early days of our fandom, many of us used to say the same thing. He could so easily be a host of a variety show. Comedy sketches, song and dance numbers, guest stars. I wish that format would come back. It wouldn’t even have to be so “family friendly.” It could air at 9:00 Central, and have more mature humor. After Divas, he really showed off his comedy chops. I just wish he could have the chance again.

    mils Here is the video of the road to Hollywood for the Idols which features Angie. She is asked who her favorite Idol was but just says “I have so many”, then they move on. I believe it was several of the other contestants but not Angie who mention Adam. Frown

    Not sure what AOL music shutting down really means except maybe the usual…corporations getting rid of the factions that are not performing as expected….lol making money! Here is an article from Billboard about it. Probably couldn’t compete with the big guys, whoever they are.

    Okay, so I was talking with a lovely lady today at work about music. She’s a crazy fan of Jon Bon Jovi. She’s 29 like me. We started talking Idol, and naming faves, blah blah blah, and we had similar taste, so I asked her what she thought of Adam Lambert. She said, “oh I liked him a lot. Can’t believe he didn’t win, ” etc etc etc, ” Do you know if he’s done anything lately?”

    It’s the same thing over and over and over.

    I filled her in. She is going to be getting a DVD soon, thanks jlurks, I still have a couple left.

    Totally agree that Adam would be a killer host for a weekly show. Give him a little time, though, before he does something so middle-aged. Smile

    Did you see that Bedlam has a link to the Trevor Project? says you are saving $24 by getting a free magazine, so you should donate that amount to T.P.
    Brilliant.
    I wish it would be possible for someone to total up all the $$ that have been donated to various causes because of our guy. Some is able to be counted – his personal requests – but how many other $$s have been committed because of Bedlam etc….probably impossible to know.
    Adam just glowed in that PSA.

    Does anyone know whether liking the FB page if you’re outside the US will still result in a donation??

    And a great Adam mention on that popwatch article….I could go for that panel, Keith Urban is the best judge this year, Adam…duh a no brainer, and Pink. I like the idea of a guest judge each week too.
    Bring back the celebrity mentors, Idol has been going downhill since its just been Jimmy Iovine…let the contestants choose their own songs and arrangements, and not Jimmy. Like they used to in season 8. Clear a lot more newer songs!!!!

    I am constantly being sent items about new uses for twitter…when it began it was a joke, but so many people have found ways to make it useful, including professioncl collaboration conferences. I really need to sit down this summer and figure it all out.

    Haven’t read the book either, mils – but every couple of weeks or so go through S8 and compare. He was like a blazing comet across Idol, lighting it up for a season, and then the darkness afterwards.

    Once I saw him, that was it.
