Having wrapped up the overseas “We Are Glamily” tour, Adam and Glamily are back in LA for some well-deserved rest. Later this month, Adam will be in Miami Beach to headline their Gay Pride event. It seems to be the first of his “a-concert-a-month” series while he works on new music. Above we see Adam enjoying his downtime lunching with Sutan. Photo from Just Jared.

    a thought that the Adam & Brian May’s collab might be for Adam #3 album…not Brian’s new album. Am I the only one that didn’t think of this possibility?

    Just watched the Idol vids of tonight’s performances, Krad – some decent voices, but nothing exciting – would have to pay me (lots) to sit through that Tour.

    I agree ultimathule…in fact I just went back and watched Adams top 4…WLL…..now that was a top 4.
    None of the contestants since then have had any wow factor for me, although there has been some good voices, there’s been no real personalities, or showmanship…or excitement.

    I know that this statement is obvious, but I do love seeing it in print (and not just from Lyndsey Parker, lol):

    So while the best singer should in theory win, location is obviously something to take into consideration when looking at who might win each year. (This was never more apparent than when the vastly superior Adam Lambert lost to Kris Allen — this proves that it’s more about location than choosing the best singer.)

    Can’t comment on idol this week. We get the competition round tomorrow. The voice australia started last week on NZ tv and they had some amazing singers…and new judge Ricky Martin isn’t bad either!Am I allowed to go completely off topic???I live in the most amazing country!!

    Hi Kiwi, they stopped showing American Idol on our cable TV when Simon left. When I called to complain, they said that without the star there wasn’t any reason to broadcast it anymore. So they show the terrible X-Factor, as long as Simon is in it! Anyway, I watch on the computer now.

    I love New Zealand! It has always been my desert isle Island (the place I have dreamt of going to in order to get away from the turmoil that is the place where I live now). One of these days I will get there… Airplane

    Was disappointed; it sort of runs on, I kept waiting for some sort of a musical arc, but it never happened.

    Hoping Nile is more inspired by Adam, if in fact they are working together.

    Interesting AOL interview, luval – part of it sounded familiar, but he would repeat stories, such as that Gaga visit, in other interviews as well.

    Struck by how much younger in personality he was then – so much more sophisticated now. And his face – thinner now – less boyish – is also more that of a mature man.

    We’ve seen him grow up these four-plus years, haven’t we.

    After a while he would repeat most things from that interview many times over. Guess it’s because he would get the same ole questions over and over and over again. Pink, GaGa, etc etc. But as we know he graciously answers them as if they were the first time asked. I remember missing that hair for a long time.

    Anyone watch Project Runway? The finale is on right now. Look at this outfit from Heidi Klum. Garish jumpsuit with a black open cut in the back blazer. Almost a cousin of another outfit…. Smile Smile Smile Guess this is what is trending!

    I agree, ulti. There was also a vulnerability in his face and manner in those days that is usually gone now. You could still see a glimpse of the scared little boy peeking out from behind the new star, trying to figure out how he fit into the firmament. As adorable as that was, I am glad that Adam has found his place and his strength now.

    I’m really looking forward to that Bedlam fanzine. It looks like it’s going to be top notch in quality and an amazing compilation of goodies. There are some really solid, non-cray fans who have contributed to it.

    It’s always rather astonishing to me how many incredibly talented fans Adam has – people who have the talent, the skills, the creativity, the time, and the passion to create the amazing, beautiful things that we all enjoy and benefit from. Like our very own mlg, for example! We, as a fandom, are so spoiled – not only by Adam, but by each other, too!
